Mrs. Cora Godwin, yearbook advisor, is
proud to announce that SJHS 2011 yearbook has been chosen for the Herff
Jones Ideas that Fly book. This is a
national book sent to all schools in the
country to showcase the best books in the
nation. SJHS yearbook was also featured
in Herff Jones Ideas that Fly in 2006. In
addition, South has been named a Gold
Medalist in the CSPA Critique (Columbia
Scholastic Press Association at Columbia
University). The critique is a teaching tool
to provide detailed guidance on how well
a student print or online media is currently
progressing, and how it could improve
during the following year.
