The Commuter Run is a 15 minute loop between the Inveresk
Car Park and the city centre making it easy and affordable for people
to park and work in the city. It runs between 7.30am and 9.45am in
the morning and from 4.15pm to 6.30pm in the late afternoon.

The River Explorer and the City Explorer run
alternatively every 30 minutes between 10.00am and 3.30pm,
providing families, shoppers and visitors easy access to Launceston
Aquatic, the Cataract Gorge Reserve, Prince’s Square, the

Picking the kids up from school and then need to drop into the
city to run that errand? Or just need to quickly pop into a shop?
Take advantage of the FREE parking from 3.30pm to 5.30pm,
Monday to Saturday in the Elizabeth Street, Paterson Street
West and Paterson Street East Car Parks.
Saturday and Sunday (all day)
There are 59 on-street motorcycle spaces spread throughout
the city.
These designated on-street motorcycle parking spaces are FREE.
Some spaces may have time restrictions. It is recommended
that motorcycle/scooter riders check the signage when parking.
There are FREE spaces behind the Paterson Street West Car Park,
near the laneway from Brisbane Street, and also at Cameron
Street Car Park and Windmill Hill Memorial Hall Car Park.

There are 16 dedicated motorcycle bays spread throughout
Paterson Street East, Paterson Street West and Elizabeth
Street off-street Car Parks. The cost to park motorcycles in
these Car Parks is $2.00 per entry as they are in secure areas.

Everything you and your children need, from a large private
cubicle to a change table. The Parenting
Facilities at the Paterson Street West Car
Park are open Monday to Saturday from
9.00am to 6.00pm and Sundays from
10.00am to 5.30pm.

Lockable bike cages are located in both the Paterson Street
East and Paterson Street West Car Parks, providing cyclists
with a FREE place to securely store their bikes and other
equipment whilst visiting or working in the city. All you need
to bring is a secure lock or bike chain.
