Financing and Leasing
Financing and leasing offer economic alternatives to paying cash, allowing governments to pay for the use of workplace
furniture over a specific period of time. This preserves precious capital budget dollars for expenditures that may not qualify
for financing or leasing.
GSA Leasing
We are authorized to provide a variety of leasing options in our current GSA Federal Supply Schedule GS-28F-8021H.
Parameters under which federal government agencies can choose a lease option are outlined in FAR 7.4 Equipment Lease
or Purchase. Lease options include: Lease with Option to Purchase (LWOP) and Lease to Ownership Plan (LTOP).
State and Local Government –– Tax-Exempt Financing
Tax-exempt financing is an economical alternative to traditional methods of acquiring your Steelcase workplace environment.
State and local governments or political subdivisions, whose interest payments are exempt from federal income taxes under
Section 103 of the Internal Revenue Code, may qualify for this type of financing including those qualified entities that purchase
through the following available contracts:
• U.S. Communities Government Purchasing Alliance (Fairfax County, VA contract #RQ01-411313-16E) for use by
state and local government agencies and political subdivisions.
• Various state contracts for use by state agencies and other authorized users.
