Frame installation
Attach to wall using (self-tapping)
screws or rivets. Recommended
screw type R6B steel ST 5,5x25
FZB.
Knock-out the protective cover
from the front to prepare the frame
for installation.
We recommend the use of eye
protectors. Make sure that no
one is injured or the equipment is
damaged by the pieces that will
break free from the frame while the
protective cover is being knocked
out.
Lubricate the inside faces of the
frame. Make sure to get Roxtec
Assembly Gel into the corner.
Modules installation

Adapt those modules which are
to hold cables or pipes by peeling
off layers.
Try to achieve a 0,1–1 mm gap
between the two halves when held
against the cable/pipe.
Lubricate the modules thoroughly
with Roxtec Assembly Gel, both
the inside and outside faces.
Insert the modules according to
your transit plan. Start with the
largest modules.
Insert a stayplate on top of every
finished row of modules.
Insert the black rubber-covered
stayplate on top of the last row of
modules.
Optional: Pre-compress the
sealing by using any of the Roxtec
Pre-compression tools.
Lubricate the rubber parts of the
Quick Lock unit and the top of the
rubber-covered stayplate thorougly
with Roxtec Assembly Gel. Push
the Quick Lock compression unit
into the slots.
Insert a screew driver or similar
into the hole of the Quick Lock
compression unit. Twist the unit
toward the centre of the frame until
it locks.

 For optimum reliability, wait 24 hours or longer after installation, before exposing the cables or pipes to strain or pressure.
 ComLite is certified according to IEC 60529 to IP 54.
