Itinerary Day 01 TEL AVIV ARRIVAL Arrive in Ben Gurion Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Jerusalem. Day 02 JERUSALEM AND BETHLEHEM (B) Drive to Mount of Olives for a panoramic view of the city. Stop at Mount Zion to visit King David’s Tomb, The Room of Last Supper and the Dormition Abbey; Enter the old city and walk through the Armenian and Jewish quarters to the recently excavated and restored Cardo, the Roman road. Continue, via Kana, to Tiberias, the lovely resort town. Day 03 JERUSALEM OLD CITY - BETHLEHEM (B, D) Enter through one of the gates to the walled old city to visit the renewed Jewish Quarter, the Western Wall, the Temple area and the colourful bazaars. Walk along the Via Dolorosa and the Stations of the Cross, ending at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Drive to Mt. Zion and visit the tomb of King David, the room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. In the afternoon, continue to Bethlehem to visit the Church of the Nativity and a view of the Shepherd’s Fields. Return to Jerusalem for overnight. Day 04 BEIT SHEAN - NAZARETH - GALILEE (B, D) Leave Jerusalem and drive north via Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Travel through the Jordan Valley to Beit Shean. At 0815, the ship will sail for the three beautiful islands of the Saronic Gulf. Visit The Island of Poros, with the enchanting view and Hydra, whose amphitheater shape once served as a safe shelter for Saronic Pirates. From the decks, you will be able to admire the very special architecture and dramatic landscapes of this island. The old traditional stone houses and mansions of this place, silently stand witness to a long and turbulent history. Your final visit will be Aegina, the largest of the three islands. We will visit two Byzantine monasteries which are full of historical and religious precious artifacts. Meteora is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Monument list. Afterwards, enjoy some free time and have the chance to take priceless photos. Return to Athens passing by the heroic Monument of Leonidas, king of Sparta, in Thermopylae.
