Kaelie Lynn Gaurkee was born on her mommy’s birthday, August 26, 2015.
Golf Tournament Success!
The 17th annual charity golf tournament hosted by the Knights of
Columbus to benefit the Mother
Teresa Maternity Home was held
on June 1, 2015. The tournament
was played in memory of Marianne Chavez who was a strong
supporter of the MTMH and an
avid golfer. The tournament was
successful in raising over $11,000
for the home.
We did well with sponsorships,
raffle prizes and auction items.
However, we experienced a de-
cline in the number of players (44
this year) comparted to recent
years and are looking for ideas to
promote the event and attract golfers for future tournaments and help
support the Mother Teresa Maternity Home.

Thank You “Joyful Living & Giving”
“Joyful Living and Giving” is an
organization designed to
spread joy by giving to others in
our community. MTMH has
been fortunate to have this
group, under the leadership of
Diane Kissinger, take an interest in our mission and “Give” to
some of our residents.
After inviting us to speak at one
of their meetings, their members brought numerous personal care items, as well as chocolates for the expectant Mothers.
A group of women brought
these Valentine gift bags to a
Lunch for the Residents hosted
by the Board. They enjoyed
meeting the Mothers and two
infants and visiting
the Home. The following month, a
member of the
group returned and
brought Easter
baskets of goodies
for the Mothers
who had older children they would be
seeing.
They have definitely spread Joy
to many Residents of MTMH.
We are grateful!
