THURSDAY FOLDER
APRIL 11, 2013
Hello Swallow Families,
Our students have really been shining outside of our school walls lately. From Destination Imagination teams and
Math competitions to athletics and many others, our students are really putting their best forward. I would like to
thank the parents and staff that work with students each day outside of the school day in helping to engage them
in learning outside of the classroom.
I also want to mention that I have gotten feedback on our drop off and pick up change made this week. I have
gotten a number of positive responses and have also had some concerns addressed. Please know that we
appreciate both sides of the feedback as we try to make everything work as best as possible. If at any time you
have something that you would like to talk about, please don’t hesitate to contact me to schedule an
appointment.
The school week of April 15-19 is tornado and severe weather awareness week. Please know that during this week
we will be conducting our spring tornado drill with the rest of the State of Wisconsin on Thursday the 18th. If you
would like more information, please connect with this link: http://readywisconsin.wi.gov/default.asp
Have a great weekend and let’s hope for warmer and dryer weather!
Take care,
Bob
