ISSUE ZERO.TWO
Greetings, Patients!
Dr. Mouse, here, to bring you the
second issue of the Furly Zero. For
this year of Further Confusion, we have
a wide variety of guests. We are glad to
have musical guest Matthew Ebel,
Author E.E. Knight, as well as 2 The
Ranting Gryphon and Uncle Kage. All
of them will be bringing something
special to The Infurmary.
Further Confusion Schedule Posted Online
Before we go on about our special guests, we would like to announce that our Schedule of Events for the
convention is now available online at: http://www.furtherconfusion.org/fc2012/schedule.
Special Guests Events
Each guest will have at least one scheduled event during The Infurmary. Don’t forget about our “Meet the Guests”
event 3pm on Friday at the Main Stage. Each of our Guests of Honor will be having a Kaffeeklatsch; a smaller, more
intimate meet-and-greet with a cup of tea on the side. E.E. Knight will be having his event 10am on Friday at the San
Carlos room in the Mariott. Matthew Ebel will be entertaining you 10am on Saturday in the Blossom Hill I&II rooms,
also in the Mariott.
Matthew Ebel considers himself a “piano rocker,” having
played the piano since age 5 and discovered electronic music
at 12. He started his career in 1999 and played some big
venues since then.
He will be having a live performance at 3pm on Saturday at
the Main Stage.

E.E Knight will be hosting an Anthropomorphic Writing Track 3pm on Saturday at the Willow Glen II room in the
Mariott.
In addition to our Guests of Honor we will
be having two very special guests: Uncle
Kage (Samuel Conway) and 2 The Ranting
Gryphon (Matthew Davis).
See them perform at 5pm on Friday at the
Main Stage!
Community Events
There will be several convention-related events going on during The Infurmary itself. While not sponsored by
Further Confusion, some of them are most likely of interest to you all during your stay.
Frolic is a monthly furry event that normally happens in a
popular San Francisco nightclub called The Stud. It is best known
for a great atmosphere and music by some of the best furry
deejays the Bay has to offer. During Further Confusion itself,
Frolic will be held at the Brix Nightclub, 349 South First Street,
San Jose starting at 9pm Saturday the 14th. Cover fee is $5 or free
for those in a fursuit.
The deejays and veejays performing are: Earvelvet, Recca,
Tekfox, Clane Decosta, Bucker Fuskyote, NeonBunny, Skibitand,
MaliePono.

Public Furry Art Gallery
The Furry Public Gallery show opens at Slave Labor Graphics and the Kaleid Gallery Thursday, January 12th, and
will be on view through Saturday, January 21. It is an event where a wide variety of anthropomorphic art by many furry
artists will be on display at two popular public art galleries in San Jose. The show has gotten a huge response from artists
participating and we can't wait to launch the exhibition!
Here are some of the artists whose work you can see: Ashalind, AC, Ginger Cooley, Krishva, Mitti, Zhivago, Katmomma,
Dingbat, King Cabbage, Smudge, Skrawl, Roz Gibson, Kettle, Vella C Raptor, Thornwolf, Akeyla, Myenia, Keovi, Brendan
Cunningham, AlectorFencer, Growly, Laura Garabedian, Astolpho
Slave Labor Graphics is located at 577 South Market Street, San Jose. Kaleid Gallery is located at 88 South 4th Street, San
Jose. Both are within walking distance of the convention.

ears and a tail!) $10 admission. This includes skate rental and
unlimited skate time for the session. Hours are: 5-9pm on Jan. 12th
and 13th; Noon – midnight on Sat. Jan. 14th, and Noon – 9pm on Sun.

Food, Food, Food!
Further Confusion 2012 is lucky to be located in the Downtown San
Jose area. It is jam-packed with a wide variety of eating
establishments to suit anyone’s tastes buds.
Our staff at The Infurmary are hard at work contacting the local
eateries and will be putting together a food guide to help all of our
guests and their hunger needs. In addition to a printed food flier,
available at the con, you can check out this website:

Come Work With Us
As we get closer to the convention itself all the critters working The Infurmary are hard at work ironing out all the
final details. Without them this convention could not happen. Why don't you come lend us a hand and work along side us
this year? New and not sure what to do, try being a Go-Fur; love video games, try working the gaming room, want to know
how the convention works, Con-Ops is always hiring, looking to really help your convention; volunteer for registration!
Contact [email protected] and help your convention today!
Next Furly
Stay tuned for the next edition
of the Furly Zero in a few
days. We shall be previewing
the events happening at the
convention itself, publishing
the food guide, and hopefully
answering whatever
remaining questions you may
have.
Special Thanks to Kitsumi for
designing the Furly logo and
Quirk for drawing my fancy
jacket and cane. We have a list of
all our artists in the convention
booklet and plan to slowly
release the art on our FA page:
