Hubert Sims, an avid target archer,
bow hunter, and archery equipment
specialist, has been the NFAA
Director for the State of Idaho for
the last fourteen years and has
been shooting Martin Bows since
1979. Hubert records every practice
shot. His register shows that he
averages over 20,000 shots per year.
(His Martin Scepter Bow purchased
in 1998 has 102,241 shots and still
counting. This Scepter still has the
original wheel bushings, axles, cams,
riser, etc.). Hubert is a valuable asset
and friend of Martin Archery. His
attention to detail has been key in our
Bow String Testing Program. Hubert
says, “Martin’s Ultracam Strings show
more consistency, less stretch, and better
serving stability than any other material
I have tested.”

nothing…nothing but design and produce the most innovative
and technically advanced archery products of the day.
Experimentations with cam designs have given us the Kam-Act
and the Dynabo. Riser engineering, from ‘way outside the box’,
has given us such creations as the Onza and the MagnaBow.
You don’t have to be familiar with these bows of yesterday
to recognize that our originality and desire to produce
the very best archery equipment are the reasons you may
be considering a Martin bow today.
The bows that you will see in the following pages reflect
the technology of today and our ideas and inspirations
for tomorrow. We eat, drink and sleep this stuff, and we
never stop. When you put your hands on a Martin bow,
you hold years of experience and a commitment toward
unparalleled quality. You may be a novice archer, you
may be a serious archery nut. Either way, you want the
best equipment you can get. And that’s why you’re

it’s not just quality control,
it’s quality … or nothing.
We have accumulated more archery knowledge and

cruise to the target like its attached to a frozen rope. Bam! That’s just how we

much speed and power!
The SlayRs frame is built around a long, sweeping riser design that stretches
axle length while maintaining a brace height that can deliver those fps! Short,

as with any other bow we make. The SlayR goes beyond slamming the target,
it will hit where you aim. And that’s the real joy of shooting this bow. Check

We knew it would happen! The Scepter III Elite dominated the world of
Target Archery in 2003, and we expect nothing less in 2004. Capturing Gold

to be the most accurate, dependable bow ever created. There’s no denying it.
The sleek, solid design gives you a more crisp shot with less hand shock, and
tack driving accuracy. Available this year in four breathtaking target colors and
our new Nitrous, Nitrous X and Tru-Arc Cams, the Scepter III Elite will be

draw lenghts. Selected African hardwoods are used in the crafting of each
Mamba. Limbs boast the efforts of hand-laid laminations and reinforced tips,
allowing the use of any modern string material. The Mamba comes equipped

Savannah
The name conjures images of wide-open spaces and exotic scenery. Just
hear it and you are carried to the African wild, where hunting takes on a
primitive flavor. The land of incredible sunsets and the deadly Big Five. We
all visit such places, from time to time, when we need to escape.
The Savannah longbow is born from such thoughts, a blended culmination
of shadowy dreams and crystal clear visions. The Savannah is the longbow
of the bush. Its short 62" length can stalk. Its slender limbs are reflexive and
deadly quick. Exotic bubinga and zebrawood give it a generous, rich look that
appeals to the discerning eye. *Savannah sets new world record. See page 1.

want your bow to be as light as possible, you will certainly enjoy the benefits

price to please both the eye and the wallet. Hand-crafted from select African
hardwoods, the Stick is one serious little longbow.

A Martin bow crushed the flight record. While testing
Larry Bowton
Hubert Sims, an avid target archer,
bow hunter, and archery equipment
specialist, has been the NFAA
Director for the State of Idaho for
the last fourteen years and has
been shooting Martin Bows since
1979. Hubert records every practice
shot. His register shows that he
averages over 20,000 shots per year.
(His Martin Scepter Bow purchased
in 1998 has 102,241 shots and still
counting. This Scepter still has the
original wheel bushings, axles, cams,
riser, etc.). Hubert is a valuable asset
and friend of Martin Archery. His
attention to detail has been key in our
Bow String Testing Program. Hubert
says, “Martin’s Ultracam Strings show
more consistency, less stretch, and better
serving stability than any other material
I have tested.”
