Introducing “Walk to Work” Concept through Ciputra World 2
The apartment towers are designed

anticipated to introduce “Walk to
Work” concept

employs a team of multidiscipline
architects experienced in designing
private residences, resort hotels,
apartment and commercial buildings
in Singapore and overseas.
In the first phase of construction
starting at the beginning of 2012, two
40 storey towers with building area of
80,000 – 90,000 m2 consisting of
about 700 apartment units, The
Cedar strata title condominiums and
service apartments managed by
Fraser Suite, will be built. Pricing of
units at The Cedar are expected to be
around Rp 20 million per square
meter.

June and 4 July.
Jakarta, 11 July 2011 – During the
end of school year holidays, Ciputra
Golf, Club and Hotel Surabaya held
two-day Summer Funtastic Camp
programs on the weekends starting 2
and 9 July 2011.
Throughout the holidays, the famous Malaysian cartoon
characters performed a short skit and took photos with
their fans. Thousands of fans came to see their beloved
characters in action.
Consisting of: outdoor and water
activities, golftainment, art activities,
charity, gardening, bon fire and
magic lessons, the program is held to give participants an
unforgettable adventure during their holiday.

– To Celebrate the
end of the 2010 /
2011 academic year,
Mall Ciputra Jakarta
held an event themed
“Aku & Mainanku”
(“My Toys and I”) at
its
Center
Court
between 22 June and
17 July 2011.
The event was held to provide an alternative holiday destination to
those in Jakarta as well as an effort to conserve Indonesian culture
through traditional games. The event featured workshops and
competitions of traditional games such as: congklak, bola bekel,
othok-othok, gasing, and engklek, along with exhibitions and
entertainment.
“Aku & Mainanku” was opened on 24 June 2011 by an event
showcasing series of entertainment hosted by Indra Bekti &
Melisa. Featured entertainments are: Genjring Party by Sanggar
Ananda, Yoyo Man Performance by Oke Rosgana and
performances by Winda Idol as well as Panti Asuhan Nurul Islam.
CitraLand City Samarinda Launches a New
Cluster, Waterfront Avenue
Jakarta, 18 July 2011 – On
Saturday 16 July 2011, CitraLand
City Samarinda launched both a
new
cluster
(Waterfront
Avenue) and a new product
(Chantier). Chantier houses are
equipped with backyards to
enable residents to mingle. This open concept cluster is also
completed with a playground and barbeque area for the
residents to use.
Our creative concepts, continuous innovation and support
from banks such as: BCA, Mandiri, UOB, BRI, BNI, Permata,
CIMB Niaga, OCBC NISP and PANIN Bank attracted over 300
potential customers to the launching event featuring Titi
Kamal (Indonesian singer and actress) at Senyiur Ballroom.
Jakarta, 18 July 2011 – On Sunday 17 July
2011, CitraIndah Sidoarjo collaborated with
Melilea to hold an event, “Happy Family
Day”. This event, unlike any other event held
by the project had a sport theme. Visitors
were able to participate in a fun bike event
and a dance competition. Melilea provided
our visitors with a free skin health
consultation.
During the event, visitors entering into a
transaction are entitled to specials deals and
gifts such as 5% deposit, shopping voucher
from AJBS worth up to Rp 10 million.
Citra BukitIndah Balikpapan’s newest
products, Alexandrite and Andalucite
were launched
Jakarta, 18 July 2011 – Citra BukitIndah Balikpapan
launched two new products in the cluster stonepark,
Alexandrite and Andalusite. These new products,
answering Balikpapan residents’ need for clean and
green housing, are completed with a viewing deck for
the residents to enjoy a beautiful view of the cluster’s
natural lake and forests.
The three selling point of this project are: its prime
location on Balikpapan’s inner ring road, innovative
designs that are setting the trend of exclusive living in

of the Constantine on 17 July 2011,
our team at CitraLand Surabaya
teamed up with BlackBerry to hold
Family Berry Fiesta. This day time
event consists of: a fun bike event, a
photo contest (DSLR and mobile
phone category), Ladies’ Fashion
Contest themed “Back to the 80s”,
Mom & Kids’ Handicraft Contest, a
Cooking Class by a professional chef
and a Berry Bazaar.
Ciputra Group Celebrates 30 Year Anniversary by
Launching Project ‘Bedah Sekolah’
Jakarta, 21 July 2011 – To
commemorate our 30th year of
business, we are giving back to the
community by renovating deserving
schools (‘Bedah Sekolah’) surrounding
our projects. One of the first to
complete this special project is The
Taman Dayu who has chosen to
renovate Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Nurul
Huda, Desa Sidokatut, Kec. Prigen,
Kab. Pasuruan.
To make over the building, our team
repaired the building’s structure;
treated and repainted its walls,
ceiling, roof, windows, doors and
gutter; added canopies to all
windows; repainted play equipments;
and repaired desks and chairs at the
school.
We hope this project will improve the
learning process of students at the
school.
Before the makeover, the school
building was rundown, moldy, had
peeling paint, and an unkempt yard.

Houses were Sold out During Launch

– On 22 July 2011,
Citra
Garden
Makassar held a
launching event for

luxury
shop
houses which was
enlivened
by
entertainment
by
Bunga Citra Lestari and her band. This launch is considered a
great success. All of the products offered were sold out on
the day, and there were many customers leaving deposits,
wishing to be on the waiting list.
Citra Garden Makassar will launch a second batch of 40 shop
houses, at a prime location, to be the face of the project.
These shop houses will be a business center for the 1200
residents of CitraGarden Makassar and its sorroundings

City’s Citra 7 held a
pre launch for a
new cluster, the
Edelweiss. Prudent
houses, these minimalist and modern units which covers a
building area of 157 m2 are proven to be popular with
customers.
Coinciding with the start of the new academic year, this
event was themed “Back to School” and featured an
education fair, a food bazaar and entertainment by wellknown artists.
The large turnout of visitors signifies the success of the
event.

Ciputra World Surabaya – The Newest Lifestyle Icon in Surabaya
Jakarta, 25 July 2011 – On 22 July
2011, CTRS opened its first mall, as
part of the mixed use development,
Ciputra World Surabaya on Jl.
Mayjend Sungkono, West Surabaya.
The opening of the mall by trade
minister, Mari Elka Pangestu, marked
the end of the project’s first
development phase.
Designed by DP Architects, renowned
Singaporean architectural firm and
designer of Mall of Dubai, Suntec City
and Esplanade – Theater on the bay
Singapore, Ciputra World Surabaya’s
design concept is green and energy
efficient. Features depicting the
design concepts are: gypsum lining on
all glass walls to prevent energy
waste and the use of non – glass
material on the west side of the
building to reduce sun exposure. To
reinforce the green and energy
efficient concept, the building uses
co-generation power supply system,
where a gas genset (energy
generator) is used as the main
generator and gas waste could be
used to fuel chillers in the building, as
well as the use of recycled water for
cooling and flushing.

Another interesting design feature in
this building is the express escalator,
the longest escalator in Indonesia
(34m) which connects the ground and
V-Walk dining area on the 3rd floor.
The escalator is to provide easy
access to the colonial/art deco
themed alfresco dining area even
after the mall closes, as it is
accessible from valet parking,
outdoor and indoor parking, as well
as the oval atrium at the mall.
Ciputra World Surabaya, the first mall
to be home to exclusive brands such
as: Emporio Armani, Salvatore
Ferragamo, Tod’s, Francesco Biasia,
Boss Orange, Red Valentino, Tommy
Hilfiger, Armani Jeans and one of
Indonesia’s biggest department store,
Metro.

homes was closed by the event, “ Ice Cream and
Chocolate Fiesta”. During the open home, our team
offered special deals such as: free gift of vouchers
worth Rp 5 million, free wallpaper, Mortgage
packages; Deposit from as low as 5% and first year
fixed interest rate of5.5% and discounts on
transactions using Mandiri debit / credit card; which
encouraged customers to enter into a transaction.

target market of the project. As the exhibition last month, this
month our marketing team offered special deals such as:
furniture vouchers, free environment management fee for 1
year and extra installments for in-house financing to customers
entering into transactions during the exhibition.
This successful event was attended by over 200 visitors, some of
which showed interest and proceeded with their transaction.

Ciputra Hotel Semarang Educate Children of
Semarang on Recycling

celebrate National
Children’s Day, on
21 July 2011,
Hotel
Ciputra
Semarang invited
primary
school
students
of
Semarang to an event themed “I Love my Earth (Aku Cinta
Bumiku)”. Led by the Director of Sales, Christoporus
Yulianto, our team taught children attending the event to
transform recycled items such as newspapers, cardboard
boxes and cans to toy planes, helicopters, robots, and
flower arrangements.
Hotel Ciputra Semarang, who has adopted “Go Green”
concept in its operations, took this opportunity to educate
students of Semarang to also “Go Green”.
Recap on Project Launches in 2011
So far, we have launched 5 residential projects this year,
which are: CitraLand NGK Jambi, Citra SunGarden
Semarang, CitraLand Pekanbaru, CitraLand Kendari and
CitraGarden Pekalongan, as well as 1 commercial project,
DIPO Business Center.
With the launch of CitraLand Denpasar in August, we are
planning the launch of 2 more projects this quarter,
namely: CitraLand Tegal and Bizpark CE Banjarmasin. The
two are CTRA direct projects. CitraLand Tegal is a
residential project covering an area of 10 ha while Bizpark
CE Banjarmasin is a storage / warehouse project covering
an area of 12 ha.
In the last quarter of the year, a residential project by
CTRS is due to be launched, CitraGrand Jogjakarta. This
joint operation project covers an area of 9 ha. While CTRP
is also planning the launch of 2 apartment projects,
Ciputra World 2 (Lot 11) and Raffles Residence (Lot 3-5).
