INTRODUCTION
Situated between the south shores of Lake
Ontario and the Niagara Escarpment, lies the Town of
Grimsby. Its moderate climate, escarpment views, rich
agricultural land and attractive waterfront, boast one of
the most charmed pieces of real estate in the province.
At the western gateway to the Niagara Peninusla,

MUNICIPAL STRUCTURE
The Town of Grimsby is one of 12
municipalities in the Regional Municipality of
Niagara. The Town has infrastructure assets
valued at more than 240 million dollars and
building and facilities assets in excess of 35
million dollars. The Town Council is comprised of a
Mayor and 8 Aldermen. The Town also has 2
representatives on the Regional Council; Mayor
Bob Bentley and Regional Councillor Debbie
