Blue Shield of California and Torrance Health IPA (THIPA) have teamed

About Torrance Health IPA (THIPA)
Torrance Health IPA (THIPA) is a non-profit, multi-specialty physician
network and a division of Torrance Memorial Health System. THIPA
has been serving the South Bay community for more than 30 years.
Our members have access to high-quality and personalized care
from over 450 primary care and specialist physicians as well as the
nationally recognized Torrance Memorial Medical Center. At THIPA,
we pride ourselves in delivering high-quality and personalized care
to our members.

•See a specialist without a referral - THIPA is South Bay’s
only medical group that allows members to see many
specialists without a referral.
•Same-day appointments at many of our locations. Call
(310) 891-6717 to make an appointment with one of our
physicians offering same-day appointments.
•Torrance Memorial Urgent Care Centers, located in
Torrance and Manhattan Beach, accept walk-ins and
provide you with an alternative to emergency room visits
for non-emergency care.
