is your network
IS YOUR NETWORK PROTECTED?
If you’re a business owner or professional you
know all too well how important it is to keep up
and running. But, what would happen if your
network crashed right now or a virus invaded your
company’s system? It’s not only possible, but highly
probable for many businesses.
A new computer virus is
detected every 18 seconds
and approximately 4,800
new viruses emerge daily.
Did you know a new computer virus is detected
every 18 seconds and approximately 4,800 new
viruses emerge daily? At least 45% of all e-mails
can carry viruses and it can cost you. An e-mail

based virus is estimated to cost a small business
up to $1,200 per hour! And if your entire network
is down, so is your business and your revenue.
You may not be worried because you have an IT
specialist that keeps your computers running.
However, many small and medium-sized business
have limited resources. This shortage can create
a reactive environment with last minute and
expensive results from maintenance, outages, and
patches. Many just don’t have the time or resources
to spend on preventative IT solutions.
There are solutions to prevent and maintain a

“Leadership is lifting a person’s vision to high sights, the raising of a person’s performance to a higher
standard, the building of a personality beyond its normal limitations.”
– Peter Drucker, Famed Business Writer and Educator
The qualities required for strong leadership are wide-ranging. Throughout the Chattanooga area, businesses and services are
succeeding based on the leadership of professional men and women. The following businesspeople have been recognized by their

A “supportive and approachable” leader with “a quiet and steady presence,” William E.

Committed to wise growth, he navigated his firm through the financial storm of the Great
Recession and the resulting winds of change. Godbold works hard to foster collaboration
between staff and attorneys, and his leadership has led to new business opportunities for the
firm. “As our managing member, Bill has set a tone of civility and respect that is important to
any healthy business,” says attorney D. Scott Bennett. “In a law firm, where attorneys often
have strongly held convictions on what courses of action to pursue, this demeanor is essential.”
