From Julie Karl My last day at Alegria is April 24 and I wanted to share a few thoughts especially for new homeowners to Alegria. My best advice to new homeowners is to always be ready for drop-in guests. You’d be surprised how a trip to the mailbox or a walk around the block ends up taking three hours. You cannot hide here. Our residents all know their neighbors and they want to know you. The best part of my day always has been when people tell me their age. I am blown away by how active and young people look in comparison to their age. It reminds me to keep moving, be positive and see what you can achieve. Age is truly just a number in Alegria and doesn’t reflect what you can do. I loved when people told me how sore they were from dancing at an Alegria party! Thanks for everything! I will miss you. Easter Potluck Sunday, April 5 - 2 p.m. Sign-up to attend an Easter potluck at the Community Center at 2 p.m. Please sign-up for something specific to bring. Also, please bring your own plates, utensils and drinks. Deadline is April 2. See the bulletin board to sign-up and for details. Welcome New Residents!
