G3 Boats is one of two Yamaha-owned boat companies.
Yamaha purchased Generation III Boats, a company with
fewer than two dozen basic models, in March of 1997
from the Lowe family. Since then, the original 80,000 sq. ft.
manufacturing facility has doubled in size, to over 160,000
sq. ft., employing 250 boat-builders, producing a full-line of
quality aluminum boats under the G3 Boats brand.
The management team at Lebanon has expanded the
original line to include the Mod-V Eagle Series, mid-price
range, all-welded fishing boats; the Angler Deep-V Series,
aluminum multi-species boats; the Sun Catcher Pontoon
Series and the Gator Tough Welded Jon Boat series.
G3 Boats has been successful in introducing competitively
priced fishing and pontoon packages with superior quality
and their position in the market has outperformed the
industry year after year. The Sun Catcher line of Pontoons
includes the LV, LX, LX3 and Elite series.
New for 2012, G3 Boats is introducing the Elite 322 SS.
The Elite 322 SS is a true luxury pontoon built on a premium
platform with three 23- by 25-inch diameter U-shaped
flotation filled logs, under deck performance shield and
an extended all-aluminum motor pod. Standard on board
features include a flush mount Garmin Map 431s GPS,
removable ski/tow bar, rear facing lounge seating layout, snap
in carpet, three boarding locations and a newly designed
boarding ladder.
