Pursuing its initiatives, Golf Québec is launching this summer a new provincial advertising campaign to
promote accessibility of golf and incite the Québec population to go out and play. Quite naturally, the
theme of this advertising campaign is “GET OUT, PLAY GOLF! OVER 300 COURSES AWAIT FOR

Ottawa | Induction ceremony and
celebration
As part of the 125th anniversary celebration of the Royal Ottawa Golf
Club, Karl K. Keffer was inducted in the Québec Golf Hall of Fame.
His great­grandson, Kyle Keffer, represented the family with his
spouse and his young daughter, Seren.

Papineau and Paré set high standards
The very first edition of the Future Pros’ Championship was
presented by Golf Québec on the splendid greens of the Elm Ridge
Country Club on Ile­Bizard. Étienne Papineau and Noémie Paré
were crowned amongst the must talented players of 17 to 24 years

2015 Junior Golfer of the Year, Céleste Dao qualified for the US
Junior Girls in the round held at Mendon, in the NY State. Up to now,

Joey Savoie will be joining excellent players in the traditional event

hearts. For its 13th year, the program has a
double goal: facilitate the participation of women
in golf and raise money for the fight against
breast cancer.
