NOTICE: Performance Friction conducted pedal travel tests of
leading brands of brake pads utilizing computerized vehicle testing.
Performance Friction also sponsored noise tests and wear tests
conducted by an independent testing laboratory on leading brands
of brake pads using blind samples with tracking codes. These are the
results of our tests. Other brands did not conduct, sponsor or otherwise
participate in these tests, or endorse these test results. The tests performed were (Society of Automotive Engineers) SAE J2521, SAE J2624,
and (Japan Automotive Standards Organization) JASO C 427-83. One
sample of each product was purchased at retail and tested. If a particular product's quality, performance or other properties are not consistent
between samples, then testing additional samples could yield different
results. A different test, a different vehicle or actual driving conditions
also could yield different results. Copies of complete test data, including
additional tests, are available on the Performance Friction website.
