Daro are the UK’s leading name for wicker furniture for the home and garden.
Established for over forty years, Daro have been at the forefront of design and quality of this handmade
product line and continue to develop ranges and accompanying soft furnishings that are both practical,
stylish and comfortable in design.
All frames are hand crafted by our teams in Indonesia with cushions made by our own Soft Furnishings
Division in the UK, offering a choice of fabrics to compliment.
Our 2014 collection is one of our most comprehensive to date and now includes the exclusive Laura Ashley
collection by Daro.

New for 2014 the Abington range is designed to complement the home or conservatory. Utilising Kubu natural rattan
material, this contemporary design will enhance any setting. We offer this range with either a 2 seat or 2.5 seat sofas. To
further enhance the appeal of this attractive design we have added side and coffee tables along with a tall storage unit
from the, also new for 2014, Ascot Range. The suite is available in any of the 50 plus fabrics from our swatch.

New for 2014, we are delighted to offer the Andorra range in Natural Wash finish in addition to the original walnut
finish. The clean lines of this contemporary design featuring smooth planed cane arms, has been a best-selling model
since its launch. The simplistic, stylish build incorporates leather binding for longevity and strength. Along with the
chair there are both 2 and 3 seat sofa options available to suit any size of conservatory. As well as a high back swivel
rocking chair, the range is complemented with both side and coffee tables and a footstool.

Andorra has been extremely well received since its launch, and the walnut finish remains a firm favourite with
our customers. This comprehensive range features seating options which including chair, 2 and 3 seat sofas as well

Ascot Dining
Another new range for 2014 is the solid mahogany wood Ascot range. Each piece uses accredited timber from reliable
sources and perfectly blends with the new Abington range and features an occasional range of side and coffee tables
and a tall storage unit. We have 3 sizes of dining tables available to comfortably seat 4 to 8 people. Each table is
available with either dining chairs or carver chairs from our Abington range. Both chair options have reversible cushion
pads which are available in any of our fabrics.

This set evolved from our classic Reno range. This timeless design uses all the elements of our advanced production
techniques with great attention to detail. The rope effect twist on the three cane pole arms and the leather bindings on
the intricate side panel decorations are proof of this. With the widest selection of items in any range, you can choose
from 1, 2 or 3 seat options, side, coffee and nests of tables as well as a footstool and entertainment unit. A four seater
dining set is available to complement this range. To offer the maximum choice the Oakham range is available in either

glass top, our unique hand woven and crafted flat cane frame of the 6 seat rectangular table, shows off its curved and
flowing lines for your dinner guests to admire. Added for the 2014 range, is a much requested occasional dining set. Again
the intricately woven base design supports an 8mm bevelled and polished safety glass top, which is available in 2 sizes. The
85cm diameter top for 2 people dining or the 100cm top which adequately seats 4. The choice of Waterford carver chair or
dining chair for any of these tables is entirely yours.

This most classic of designs features a graceful sweeping 3 pole cane arm which starts at the floor and curves elegantly
around the frame to the opposite side. Every frame uses leather binding for maximum strength and durability. In
addition to the conventional 3 piece suite we offer a 2.5 seat sofa as well as glass topped side and coffee tables and
matching footstool. The new wrap around cushion style makes for a cosy feel to the suite and all cushions are reversible
for an even wear.
Another consideration to match your Worcester suite could be a 2 seat breakfast set which complements this range. It’s
compact design means that it fits neatly into the smallest of spaces and the seat pads can be chosen in matching fabric
to your lounging suite. This range is available in Light Natural Wash.

The rattan used to manufacture our furniture and accessories is a natural product which
grows mainly in Malaysia and Indonesia. It is a solid but highly flexible material with
irregular surface marks and colour variations which enhance the furniture’s casual feeling
and are proof of it’s authenticity. Naturally the canes will vary in dimension and rattans
have stem diameters ranging from 3mm up to 50mm. Each piece has been hand selected,
hand formed and the joints wrapped with either rattan or leather bindings to create strong,
lightweight furniture that you will enjoy for years to come.
Another feature of the drying out process is that occasionally the centre leg of a sofa may
not touch the floor when purchased. This is quite normal and will rectify itself when given
time to adjust to the atmosphere. Similarly, small cracks may appear during this period,
this is quite normal and will not compromise the integrity of the furniture in any way. Our
methods of construction are such that any blemish’s which appear are considered part
of the nature of our products. The furniture is designed for use as domestic seating in an
indoor environment and contact with wet or damp surfaces should be avoided.
