Early Childhood Enrichment
PRESCHOOL
PROGRAM NOTES
The Recreation Department provides a wellrounded class experience for each child. We
do our best to meet the individual needs of
each child in a relaxed environment. Children
must be the correct age by the first day of class.
Our classes promote socialization, physical and
mental growth, and can help ease the transition
to preschool. Staff will not change diapers. If
your child is in a drop- off class, you will need
to be available if a diaper needs to be changed.
An adult must accompany each child enrolled
in a parent/child program. Families with twins
and triplets must bring additional caregivers.
Gymtastic Play Time
Come enjoy an hour in the gym playing on the equipment as it is set up for your enjoyment.
Provide your tot with a safe environment to let off some steam playing with other children
their age. Register for the whole session or pay as you come to the indoor play time.
For more information contact Joe Mobile, Program Manager, at 847-810-3941.

Early Childhood Enrichment
Kindermusik® is the world’s leading early childhood music
and movement program for newborns to age 7. Taught by
licensed educators across the country and internationally,
each Kindermusik® class is a world of discovery and
adventure. You’ll witness your child’s developmental evolution
in language skills, literacy, listening, problem solving, selfesteem, and musicality. Your child will develop his physical,
emotional, cognitive, social and language domains. And
it happens within a nurturing environment-full of energy,
imagination, music, dancing, and playful delight.
The Director, Susan Henning, has a passion for kids!
Teaching Kindermusik since 1999, Susan is a Maestro
instructor, recognized by Kindermusik International as owning
one of the top 5% producing Kindermusik studios worldwide.
Susan is a faculty member at the College of Lake County
where she teaches “Music Activities for Young Children”
to prospective early childhood educators. Additionally,
Susan directs the 20+ voice Senior High Choir at the First
Presbyterian Church of Libertyville. Other licensed instructors
may teach for Miss Susan.
