Introduction

you can do almost anytime and anywhere. With
a little practice you can make all sorts of designs

We start with the basic knotting principles and with
each new project you learn a different design or
technique. By the time you have finished this kit you
should have the knowledge and skills to make up to
eight colourful, vibrant bracelets.

Project 3: Variation
Variations to Try:
1. Try making a bracelet using 3 or
4 colours to create a rainbow effect.
2. Try 5 knots with one colour, then
5 knots with the next colour for a
funky look!
4. Knot this piece of string around the core
of your bracelet. Make sure that you knot it
where the join is so that you have black string
coming out one side and orange string coming
out the other side.

Project 5:
5. Hold the two long strings in one hand
6. Starting with thread (1) on the
LOVE Bracelet
and weave them under string 1 (as in the
illustration), then back over string 1.
9. Bring strand (4) under strands

(2) and (3) then under strand (4).
1. Choose two colours of scoubidou strings.
(2) and (3) then up through the

Cut the following lengths of string:
Pink - 2 x 30cm, 2 x 40cm
Purple - 2 x 40cm
10. Continue in this way for
2. Take 1 of the 30cm lengths of pink string.
Thread the end of the string through the loop in
the ‘Love’ charm and tie a knot.
7cm. Turn the bracelet over and
tie the strings in a double knot.
This will ensure the knots sit on
the back of the bracelet. Trim
off any excess strings. Be careful
not to cut the centre string as
you will need this to secure the
bracelet around your wrist.

7. Bring strand (4) under strand

6. Now, still holding the two strings together,
weave under string 2, then back over string 2.
7. Continue weaving until your bracelet is
