on the grounds of WCA Hospital,
207 Foote Avenue. Free To The Public.
Fun-filled afternoon for everyone!
Chicken barbeque, horse & buggy rides, games for
the kids, cake bake-off, live music and comedy, time
capsule, historic exhibits, story telling, face-painting,
balloons, cotton candy, popcorn, giveaways, and
of course, BIRTHDAY CAKE! Bring your friends,
family, neighbors & your lawn chairs!

Dear Friends,
On May 23, 2010, WCA
Hospital begins its 125th
year of serving our
community. On that date
in 1885, WCA began its
service to the Jamestown
area in a one-room hospital
in a boarding house for young, working
women. From these humble beginnings
to the present, we have never wavered
from our mission to improve the health
and well being of those we are so privileged
to serve — the very purpose for which this
hospital was founded. As our appreciation
to our devoted community, patients, and
the many health professionals who have
been part of WCA’s distinguished legacy,
we invite you to our Birthday Party on
the very day we commemorate 125
years. Please mark your calendars and
join us as we honor our illustrious past
and celebrate our bright future. We feel a
great sense of pride for the choices we have
made, knowing that they have brought us
to the great success that we enjoy today. We
