Wolf Theiss Promotes Four New Partners
WOLF THEISS, one of the leading commercial law firms in Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe, is
pleased to announce the promotion of four partners: Sven Hollmann, Ciprian Glodeanu, Luka Tadić Čolić
and Benjamin Twardosz. The appointments become effective retroactively as of January 1, 2012.
Sven Hollmann studied law at the University of Innsbruck and holds an LL.M. degree from Georgetown
University. Mr. Hollmann was admitted to the Viennese Bar in 2006. After internships with Swiss and German
law firms, he started at Wolf Theiss Vienna as an Associate in 2002, followed by secondments to Wolf Theiss
Tirana in 2005 and Allen&Overy London in 2006. In 2007 he went to work for Liechtenstein-based law firm
Marxer & Partner, and returned to Wolf Theiss as a Counsel in 2008. His main practice areas are Corporate,
M&A, Private Equity and Banking & Finance. Mr. Hollmann recently advised the owner of the Austrian betting
and gaming company Wettpunkt on the sale of its business group and Sun European Partners, LLP on the
acquisition of Unterland Flexible Packaging GmbH.
Ciprian C. Glodeanu has been a member of the Bucharest Bar Association since 2000 and holds an LL.M. degree
in Private Law. After working for 6 years as an associate and a partner at Romanian law firms, he joined Wolf
Theiss in 2006 as a Senior Associate. Mr. Glodeanu focuses on transactions in the areas of Real Estate, Renewable
Energy and Infrastructure. He has been involved in transactions such as advising the world largest manufacturer,
seller, installer, and servicer of wind turbines during the development of several wind projects with an installed
power of 300 MW and advised ButanGas Romania to diversify their investment portfolio by acquiring and
developing a 30 MW wind project in Dobrogea. He frequently serves as a speaker in the areas of Renewable
Energy and Real Estate at conferences and seminars across Europe.
Luka Tadić Čolić studied law at the University of Zagreb Law Faculty, and holds an LL.M. degree from Harvard
Law School. He has been with Wolf Theiss as a Senior Associate since 2009 after being an associate and then a
junior partner at Zagreb-based law firms. Mr. Tadić Čolić was admitted to the Croatian Bar Association in 2006.
His main practice areas are Corporate Governance, Mergers & Acquisitions, Banking and Finance Law. He
recently worked on the acquisition of the largest Croatian courier company, City Ex, by private equity fund
Bancroft LLP and continues to advise the Austrian betting gaming company Wettpunkt on all aspects of their
Croatian operations, including a takeover of a Croatian competitor.
Benjamin Twardosz joined Wolf Theiss as an attorney in 2009, originally as a Senior Associate and became a

Counsel in 2011. He studied at Vienna University School of Law and Vienna University of Economics and
Business Administration (WU Wien), where he also obtained a Master in Business Administration and an LL.M.
in International Tax Law. Mr. Twardosz is admitted both as a Certified Public Tax Advisor and as an
Attorney-at-Law in Austria. Prior to joining Wolf Theiss he worked at the Austrian Supreme Administrative
Court, large law firms in Vienna and tax advisory firms. He is specializing in International Tax Law and Tax
Planning, Corporate Reorganizations, Tax Litigation and Criminal Tax Law. Mr. Twardosz has over 50 published
works, including books on tax law and tax litigation in Austria and internationally and he is a lecturer, amongst
others, at Vienna University.
