Wednesday Night, Sept 26th: National Donut Drop Day! (Bring a box of donuts to an area business and
show God’s love in a practical way!)
Week of, October 7th: COMMUNITY WEEK! (Community Week is going to be fun! Remember, it’s for
the WHOLE family so all kids are welcome. And just bring a dish or dessert that can feed your family and
one other family. That way we’ll have enough to share.)
Wednesday Night, October 31st: Halloweenie Roast! (Set aside time and assign positions THIS WEEK.
You will be receiving a phone call soon asking your where your host home is for the Halloweenie Roast so
that we can map it.)
ICEBREAKER SUGGESTION
Who Am I?
Prepare a self-adhesive label or post-it note for each young person in your group. Write on it the name
of a well-known or famous person. This can be an historical character or current sportsman, musician,
TV personality, celebrity etc. Have a good mix of men and women. Keeping the names hidden, stick the
post-it notes on the foreheads of everyone in the group. They must then ask questions of the others to
find out their identity.
Each person takes a turn to ask questions and figure out who they are. For example, Am I alive? Am I
female? Am I in a band? Only yes or no questions can be asked. If the answer is no, their turn is over. If
the answer is yes, they can ask another question and keep going until they get a no, or guess who they
are. Keep playing until everyone has guessed, or if time is short, stop after the first few correct answers.
PRAYER POINT & MEMORY VERSE
Prayer Point: Pray today for our Crosspoint Outreach opportunities coming up. Pray that we
can touch thousands of lives in just two weeks through our water bottle handouts and show
God’s love in a practical way.
Memory verse: “Then he said to them all: “If anyone would come after me, he must deny
himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Luke 9:23

staff will be getting together for a fun
night of hanging out with each other

having a “Pot Luck” dinner at an
area park so that all Small Group
members & their families can join in.

In addition to your curriculum DVD
you will be supplied a supplemental
DVD that will focus on some exciting
things that are coming up in the life
of Crosspoint Church!

all Small Groups will be participating
in our biggest outreach of the year!
We will be grilling out in front of our
homes giving away free hotdogs,
drinks & goody bags to parents and
candy to their kids!
