his Habitat chain of home furnishings stores which brought
intelligent, modern design within reach of the general
population for the very first time.
Today Terence owns shops, restaurants and hotels in exciting
cities around the world and has a thriving design and
architecture practice, Conran and Partners.

History
Content by Conran was established in 2003 by Sir Terence
Conran, founder of Habitat and the Conran Shop. It is a relaxed
and informal range of British furniture for contemporary living
designed by Terence and his team. The collection is comfortable,
simple and uses natural, authentic materials that look better
and better over time. We believe thoughtful design really does
improve the quality of our lives.

Barbary
The new Barbary is an elegantly proportioned, pleasingly
symmetrical storage range characterised by its fine
craftsmanship and attention to detail. In a light oak finish,
dovetail drawer handles in solid walnut provide a relaxed
contrast. Comprising a neat, one-drawer side table, media unit,
tall six-drawer storage unit, three-drawer sideboard and coffee
table, Barbary is a beautiful yet functional collection that looks

Mica
Inject colour and interest into your room with our capsule
collection of Mica occasional tables. Bold and contemporary
with clean lines and a graphic aesthetic, these pieces, in cool
greys and pops of deep red, are great accent pieces but also
versatile and extremely useful. The Mica nest of side, coffee
and console tables are crafted in cast iron with coloured
tops in a two way colour combination – grey with red and

59th Street
Bauhaus style is alive and well in the super elegant, cleanlined 59th Street Chair. Reminiscent of Le Corbusier’s linear
masterpieces, 59th Street is a compact, well-balanced timeless
design that appears to float on its steel strip skis, which come
in a sleek chrome finish. The comfort provided by 59th Street’s
well-constructed sprung base is enhanced by the separate seat
and back cushions, which are filled with both foam and fibre.
The chair’s fixed cover has a piped edge detail, which further
defines its linear qualities, and can be finished in a contrasting

Informal yet chic, Pillowtalk is a modular sofa system that
