Val Senales Glacier Cable Car
Built in 1975, this cable car connects Maso Corto to Hotel Grawand and provides
access to the Hochjoch Glacier (Giogo Alto), where one can find the only ski area
open year round in South Tyrol. Because road access to this zone is limited in the
surrounding areas, the cable car lift – in addition to the hotel located at the upslope
facilities and other means of transport such as snowcats – make an ideal departure
point for those ready to hit the snow, rock, and ice in the high Alps.
