MAIN ATTRACTIONS
Main Attractions
What main films will play at the
Ambler? This section lists the Main Attractions that we intend to play. This list
is only an educated guess, though, since
film release plans often change. (Additional unlisted films will also become
available.)
Scheduling our Main Attractions is weekto-week. On Monday, we decide what
main films will play starting that Friday.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we set the
showtimes for the upcoming week and
then update our website and telephone
hotline. We also send out a weekly email
(which you can receive by signing up
at our website). Sometimes, we book a
main film a few weeks in advance, which
we post on our website’s “Coming Attractions” section.

hotline at 215 345 7855.)

HOLLYWOOD SUMMER NIGHTS
2016
Hollywood Classics
The stars of Hollywood’s Golden Age return
to the silver screen every week this summer.
We’ve got a little bit of everything: comedy,
romance, action, suspense, and familyfriendly favorites. Whether you are enjoying
these classics for the first or thirtieth time,
seeing them on the big screen with an
engaged audience is the perfect way to spend
a summer evening.
Reduced admission for young patrons. Most
of these Hollywood Classics are good for any
age audience - and each film of the entire
Classics series is only $3 for patrons 18
years old or younger. Also, if you dress “in the
theme” of the movie - you get a free popcorn.
Plus some edgier choices. Not all of the films
in this series are classics from the Golden
Age. Some are edgier. They were not made
for the entire family. But they definitely were
made to be seen on the big screen. Are they
new classics in the making? You be the judge.

Returns
This Fall
Our Lively Arts Series
returns in September with
all new seasons of superb
theater, opera, ballet,
and art exhibitions from
around the world. The
series brings you incredible
artistry from top performing
arts organizations and
museums - beaming them
to our screens. Here are
some of the programs you
can look forward to seeing
in the 2016-2017 season.
Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company
Kenneth Branagh
Theatre Company
The first season of the Kenneth Branagh Theatre Company promises a year of unmissable
theatre. Following the success of Judi Dench
in A Winter’s Tale, Branagh’s company presents
two new productions Shakespeare’s classic
tragedy Romeo and Juliet and John Hurt in The
Entertainer.
National Theatre Live
Exhibition on Screen
We are happy to present a new season of the
best of British theater live from the London
stage.
Bringing important art exhibitions from galleries around the world to a cinema near you in
stunning high definition. Upcoming exhibitions
include “Painting the Modern Garden: Monet
to Matisse” from London’s Royal Academy of
the Arts. Guided by passionate curators, artists,
and experts this series will give you behind-thescenes and up-close access to masterpieces.
Two new productions are in the works for this
fall - titles to be announced. But we are also
thrilled to have access to encores of some of
the most popular NTLive productions including
One Man, Two Guvnors, Helen Mirren in The
Audience, Danny Boyle’s Frankenstein, Benedict
Cumberbatch in Hamlet, and War Horse.
Royal Opera & Ballet
Royal Opera House
Featuring breathtaking works from the top
talents and casts of London’s Royal Opera and
Royal Ballet. Upcoming productions include
Bellini’s Norma, Mozart’s Cosi fan tutte, Verdi’s
Il Trovatore, Puccini’s Madama Butterfly, and
Tchaikovsky’s ballets Anastasia and Sleeping
Beauty.
Shakespeare’s Globe
Shakespeare’s Globe
In a year full of celebrations commemorating
the 400 year anniversary of Shakespeare’s
death, the Globe Theatre features three thrilling productions from the world’s most famous
stage. Productions include Measure for
Measure, Richard II, and Jonathan Pryce as
Shylock in his first Globe appearance in The
Merchant of Venice.

Retirement comes sooner than anyone expects—
and often before many people have the chance to
prepare. In order to live in retirement—the way
you want to live—you have to plan. The sooner
you begin, the greater opportunity you will have to
accumulate the wealth you will need to live a long and
comfortable life.
