W 22001155 Location: The meeting would be held in the heart of downtown Boise in the Boise Convention Center (adjacent to the University). There are numerous affordable hotels within a 2 – 5 minute walk and dorms are 12 minutes on foot. The downtown is very charming with lots of shops, restaurants/bars near the hotels and convention center. Flights: 60 arrivals per day by 5 major airlines with international connections through Chicago, Denver, San Francisco, LA, Minneapolis, Salt Lake & Seattle. Airport Transfers: It is only 3 – 4 km from airport to hotels and dorms; free shuttles offered by all hotels, shuttles for dorms, $12 taxi fare. Venue: The Boise Convention Center is located in the heart of downtown Boise. It is very spacious with both a large open indoor foyer and beautiful spacious outdoor area with a fountain, perfect for the welcome reception and coffee breaks. All satellite meetings, poster sessions, meals and oral presentations will be held in this facility maximizing opportunities for scientific interactions. The rental fee is extremely affordable as we have negotiated rates based on revenue generated by the Workshop. Dorms: Boise State dormitories are only a 12 minute walk from the Convention Center. They also offer complementary bikes which can be used throughout the stay. Hotels: There are numerous quality hotels affordably priced all located within one to three blocks from the Convention Center. Banquet: Whitewater rafting, a train ride and dinner at a ranch, all very close to Boise will provide a fun and relaxing finish to this great meeting. Coordination: Conference Solutions Boise is a beautiful location that provides an esthetically attractive venue, easy to get to and boasting outstanding meeting facilities and accommodations at a low cost. The meeting facility and lodging are all in close proximity. We are convinced that Boise would provide an exceptional meeting environment for IHW 2015!
