Iowa Floods Update
The Iowa clean-up effort is underway as the state struggles to try and “put back” all that was
washed away. EPA Region 7 has been granted an additional $4 million of funding from the
Federal Emergency Management Administration (FEMA) to continue hazardous materials and
oil-related operations. Keystone Laboratories is also making efforts to provide services to the
communities that are dealing with the aftermaths of our flood. Our Waterloo location has experienced and increased volume of samples in the area. We are also offering 1/2 off the first
work order of all new clients who choose to bring the sample to Keystone.
