Mater Pathology Home Collection Service
Mater Pathology continues to provide its fully bulk billed home collection
service for all southside patients.
The home service utilises a team of fully qualified Certificate III collectors specialise in
the collection of specimens for general adult, maternity, paediatric and neonatal tests, to
provide south side residents with access to Mater Pathology’s expertise from the comfort
of their own homes.
Unlike other pathology home collection services, we visit and bulk bill all southside
patients, regardless of health status. This service is customised to patient needs and
lifestyle, and is particularly suited to elderly or disabled patients and mothers with young
children.
The service operates from 7am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. We will visit patients at a time
that is convenient for them—this being agreed with our call centre when the home
collection is booked.
