EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
AND BENEDICTION
Tuesdays: 6:00 PM (Spanish) in church

DAILY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Parishioners have been assigned every hour
as a worshipper to Jesus in the Eucharist.
All are welcome! The Eucharistic Adoration takes
place in the Our Lady of Divine Vocations Chapel.

BAPTISM (in English):
Parents wishing to have their child baptized are asked to make
an appointment with the Parish Administrator. Please bring
the child’s birth certificate. Baptisms in English are on
Saturdays at 11:00 AM.
CONFESSIONS:
Confessions are heard before each of the Masses on Sunday:
8:30 to 8:55 AM, 10:00 to 10:25 AM (in Spanish),
and 11:30 to 11:55 AM, or by appointment in the rectory.
MARRIAGE:
Please make arrangements with a priest at least six months
before the wedding date. Log on to www.pre-cana.org for
diocesan guidelines on marriage preparation.

GENERATIONS OF FAITH provides us with the
opportunity to strengthen the heart of our diocese
by securing the future of our parish communities,
keep our promises made to the retired and
infirmed priests who have faithfully served us,
and foster the next generations of Catholics.
Shrine Church of Our Lady of Solace

This extraordinary endeavor is designed to
ensure the long term ability of the Church in
Brooklyn and Queens to support our immediate
priorities, launch new programs and address
local needs in one coordinated effort within
each parish.
Our parish target for this historic initiative is
$295,000. Fifty percent (50%) of the total funds
we raise will remain with us for our own parish
needs. If we surpass our target, we will then
retain seventy-five percent (75%) of all funds
raised above our goal. For every dollar over
125% of our goal, the parish will receive 100%
of funds.
The Annual Catholic Appeal for 2016 is already
included in the parish target.
NOTE: Since we first announced “Generations
of Faith,” we have a pledge commitments
totaling $172,000. That’s from 38 families
providing us with approximately 58 percent of
our goal!

address these worthwhile and vital parish
projects as we build on our past, address our
current needs and prepare for an even more
vibrant future.

CAMPAIGN
GOAL:
$80 million
With our share of funds, we will be able to
move forward with projects which we will
tackle in a phased approached. These much
needed upgrades and renovations include:
1. Pay off the loan for the renovations made to
the church, such as the pews and floor,
following the damages incurred during
Hurricane Sandy
2. Resurface the parking lot
3. Upkeep the envelope of the school building
4. Repair the roof of the tower, as it is leaking
5. Clean the apses over the Our Lady of Solace
and St. Joseph altar shrines
6. Install an air-conditioning system
Through the funds raised in our campaign, we
can begin this important work for the church.

Este esfuerzo extraordinario esta disefiado para
asegurar la capacidad al largo plaza de la Iglesia

apoyará nuestras prioridades inmediatas,
lanzara nuevos programas y atendera a las

Nuestro objetivo tras esta iniciativa histórica es
