THE FIRST ENCOUNTER
Branson and I met while
attending law school at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
in a bar, through a mutual friend. After we met, he called me and asked
I’m glad I decided to take that break from studying! We dated for one
semester before I moved to Miami for a job. Branson still had another
year of law school, and then did his postgraduate law degree in New
York City. We continued to date long distance for two years before he
proposed. He found a job in Atlanta, and I was able to transfer with my

Preparing for the wedding was stressful even though it was a long engagement! Since I was really busy at work,
I didn’t have a lot of time to plan. I went with every vendor recommendation my wedding planner suggested. I barely did any research, but everything turned out perfectly! I also told my wedding planner that I love little
details. She sent me a long email with little detail recommendations that
I see it, that was extremely helpful for me.
THE BIG DAY
Everyone told me that something would go wrong
the day of the wedding, but honestly, nothing did. I could not have felt
more relaxed before the wedding! We had Paper Dolls come to the venue to do our hair and makeup. The stylists were so much fun and made
me feel so relaxed. Everyone loved their hair and makeup and I think
There was really little to think about the day of the wedding.
THE RETREAT
from work and went to Santorini, Greece and Ravello, Italy on the Amalwine tasting and catamaran tour, rented ATVs and enjoyed some quality
time with each another! We loved both Greece and Italy, but agreed that
if we had to pick one place, we would choose Santorini. The views are out
of this world!
