INNOVATION
Innovations-Paradoxa.

INNOVATION
INDUSTRIE 4.0
 Die nächste industrielle Revolution INDUSTRIE 4.0 - bietet fantastische Chancen
zur weiteren Automatisierung und damit zur
Effizienzsteigerung, Kostenreduzierung,
Verkürzung von Durchlaufzeiten, Erhöhung der
Prozesssicherheit, etc.
 Industrie 4.0 betrifft nicht nur die Fertigung
sondern den gesamten Produktlebenszyklus
vom Portfolio Management bzw. der
Produktplanung über die Herstellung und
Anwendung bis zur Entsorgung des Produktes
 Industrie 4.0 stellt riesige Herausforderungen
an die technische, organisatorische und
prozedurale Vernetzung von Objekten und
Menschen

INNOVATION
INDUSTRIE 4.0
 Die zu beherrschenden Datenmengen sind
immens und stellen völlig neue Anforderungen
an Echtzeitverarbeitung von Big Data
 Der Anspruch „jedes Objekt kommuniziert mit
seiner Umwelt und wird verstanden“ erfordert
die Etablierung und Umsetzung von
Kommunikationsstandards in einem bisher
ungekannten Ausmaß
 Die totale Vernetzung steigert signifikant das
Risiko des totalen Ausfalls, deshalb explodieren
die Anforderungen an Sicherheit und Stabilität
 Die Anbieter von Plattformen zum
durchgängigen Management von Produkten im
Sinne von Industrie 4.0 werden in den
nächsten 10 Jahren riesige Investments tätigen
müssen

INNOVATION
INDUSTRIE 4.0
 Unternehmen wie die SAP AG haben beste
Voraussetzungen sich in der „Championsleague“ der
Industrie 4.0 Anbieter durchzusetzen
Big Data, Mobility, etc. gelegt
Autorensystemen jedweder Art

V5-V6-SAP
Synchronisation
Design Change
• OEM car project is in V5, we decided to
develop the brake disc in V6
• Brake disc design is in work, several iterations
with OEM are already done
• OEM changes car design and requests brake
with higher performance
• We review ECR and decide to execute the OEM
request
• We extend the ongoing business process
in CONNECT APM
• We import the new OEM V5 data and
recognize the already exisiting data
• Based on the V5 predecessor search we
load the OEM data into V6
• We use the OEM context data to change
the brake disc design in V6
• We release our changed design in V6
• We synchronize the changed V6 data
with SAP and create DIR and BoD
• We link the V5 OEM data into the BoD
• We create 3D visualization data in SAP
• We transfer the V6 brake disc data to V5
• We create MAT data in SAP
• We export the V5 data and send them to
the OEM

• We check who is the engineering
currently working on the brake disc
• We change the process and add our
STOP process template (terminate
and document efforts)
• We extend the ongoing business
process with the required steps for
the brake disc design change
• The process history contains all
iterations, the reason for design
changes and the cost / efforts
involved

PROCESS DRIVEN COLLABORATION
HIGHLIGHTS
 Easy and scalable entry into V6 usage for dedicated projects in existing
V5-SAP PLM environment independent from OEM decisions
 Business process security for development iterations and changes even
passing the system and company borders several times in heterogenous
DS V5 / V6 and SAP environments
 Automation of process steps controlled by configurations like
– Data exchange agreements for customers / projects / processes
– Data convertion agreements for V5 / V6 migration and vis versa
– Check rules for design releases of DIR, BoD etc.
– Behavior rules for the handling of OEM data
 Intelligent V6 import leveraging the V5 predecessor search in CONNECT
Collaboration and creating versions etc. accordingly in V6
 Intelligent V6-SAP synchronization respecting rules like special handling
of OEM data
