Dear Colleague:
You are invited to attend The Science and Business of Obesity Management for the New or Experienced Practitioner
Conference on Thursday, July 17 through Saturday, July 19, 2014, at the Hyatt Regency in Philadelphia, PA.
This unique event provides participants with the opportunity to explore every facet of obesity care in one place—
operational, scientific, and clinical. During the three-day conference, you’ll actively learn and interact with our
internationally recognized experts from leading obesity research, education and treatment centers, as well as network
with your fellow conference attendees.
The first day of the conference highlights best practices for weight loss program operations, including training,
marketing and data collection, and better patient care through nutrition and behavior modification.
Then, throughout the following two days, attendees will enjoy the most comprehensive clinical agenda in obesity
research, treatment and prevention. The presentations are focused on improving patients’ total wellness by utilizing
clinical research and evidence-based strategies to address the myriad of co-morbid conditions related to the disease of
obesity. Further presentations address behavior modification, pharmacotherapy, bariatric surgery, and obesity treatment
at every stage of life.
Included with your registration is a ticket to our evening Welcome Reception where you have the opportunity to relax
and enjoy conversation with the expert speakers and fellow attendees. This is a conference you do not want to miss!
Mark your calendars to join us in Philadelphia for this one-of-a-kind comprehensive obesity treatment conference! We
look forward to seeing you.
Sincerely,
John Hernried, MD, FACP
