LogRite Log Arches
We manufacture a full line of log arches so that you can move any log, anywhere with minimal
effort and disturbance. Our log arches are the most effective, ergonomic and useful tools for low
impact forestry, arborists and sawmill applications. Log arches allow for low impact operations in
sensitive areas, minimal ground disturbance and clean logs for sawmilling. Great for selective
harvesting and thinning.
Comments and Pictures from Customers
Necessary Tool - I’ve had this arch for a year now and
carry it routinely on milling jobs. Bought the two man
handle, tow tongue and Honda portable capstan winch
also and use all of these regularly. Expands my ability to
handle whatever I find at the job site, increases safety and
eliminates potential for damaging customer’s property.
The fetching arch and its accessories, because of their
functionality and quality of construction are very satisfying
to use and my customers consistently tell me how
remarkable they are. - Dennis Hoover

Dear Kevin,
The log arch arrived intact, was easy to assemble and
functioned marvelously, Our first test haul was a
massive 35” in diameter, 21’ long douglas fir sawlog
that was successfully transported with ease and
absolutely no road surface disturbance! Thank you for
excellent product offerings and fast, efficient service.
Pleasure doing business with you.

You probably remember me coming by to pick up a
junior arch a couple of weeks ago. This weekend I
got to use the arch for the first time. And it is
just amazing how efficient this tool is - it almost
looks and sounds too good to be true, but the
first pick up of a 13 foot hemlock log (about 12”
diameter” proved that this is an incredibly well
designed and well made tool. Great job - I look
forward to putting the arch to work as we prepare
our land for building and for the septic field.
-Chris
So easy to use, even a dummy can do it!
This is a really tough piece of equipment. The fetching
feature is so effective it will bring you trees you never
thought possible. It also makes hung trees very easy
to unhang, simply fetch the butt end and pull the top
free. You will need a winch to pull the arch when
fetching. I added the forwarding attachment and moved
more wood in two 6 hour days than I would do in a
complete season of wooding and we have 12" of snow
on the ground making conditions miserable. I used a
550 Arctic Cat 4X4 ATV with diff lock on snow pack
with great results. For really big logs (26" x 10')
adding another ATV makes a big difference if you need
to deal with inclines on snow. If your thinking about
moving wood more efficiently this is the tool for the
job. I'm looking forward to frozen ground (without
snow) to see just how big a log I can move adding a
JR arch to the tail end.

Junior Arch Our Handiest Arch
The LogRite Junior Arch is an indispensable tool for moving
logs by hand. The Junior is light enough to be carried by
hand but strong enough to last a lifetime. The Junior can
also be used for felling hang-ups, bucking firewood,
positioning work or bunching logs. The optional extension
handle is used for longer logs or walking greater distances.

Fetching Arch
LogRite’s Most Versatile Arch
Originally designed to fetch logs on steep slopes where wheeled
vehicles couldn’t or shouldn’t go. It was intended to be used with
any source of line pull. By removing the ring and replacing it
with one of the other options you can convert this arch to one
that can be pulled by hand or by an ATV. The two man handle
converts this arch to one that can be used by hand; while the
Tow Tongue and Winch option converts it into our ATV arch.

Tractor Arches - T30 and T36 Our biggest forwarding arches.
The Tractor arches are super strong and make moving large
logs possible. Their truss frame construction allows them to
fully suspend 16’ or 18’ and 4000 or 6000 lbs of weight. Fully
suspending the log makes it easy to steer and back logs right
into place. All the tractor arches come with 3200 lb 2-speed
hand winches with a 3/8” choker line with doubling option.
Built into the front and back are receiver mounts for special

U.L.T.R.A. - Ultimate Log and Tree Removal Apparatus
It’s a log arch, brush hauler and log hand truck
all in one!
This arch was designed for tree service professionals. This
arch performs similarly to any of our hand arches and will move
a 16’ log. Suspends the whole log so there is no damage to the
lawn and then goes right through a 36” gate! Once you have
the main trunk, you can convert the arch into a brush hauler to
move all the brush and smaller limbs. And yes, it still fits
through a 36” gate. The arch can be converted one more time
and it becomes a hand truck with the ergonomic handle you
can easily move 1800 lbs.
A slick hinge design
makes this arch
easy to reconfigure.

Hand Tool Section
Using new materials and modern engineering, LogRite sets the new standard for logging
hand tools. Our tools are designed to meet today’s standards of performance. Our handles
are built from aircraft aluminum and then powder coated bright blue so they are stronger,
lighter and easy to see. Our hooks are designed to bite every time. They are heat treated
and zinc plated for a lifetime of use. We even finish the tools with a safety pin so that your
fingers won’t get crushed between the hook and the handle, and a rubber grip is added for
your comfort.
We offer different styles and sizes to meet everyone’s need.
Not sure your style?
Traditionally, cant hooks were used around sawmills for turning cants; while peaveys were
designed for and used for river drives.
Both tools consist of a handle with a swing hook. The difference between the two is what is
on the end of the handle. A cant hook has a small toe hook on the end which provides a
second biting edge. A peavey has a point on the end which is used to separate logs.
Today these tools are used interchangeably and are capable of doing the same jobs. So it
comes down to personal preference when choosing between the two tools.
Cant Hook style vs Peavey style
Benefits:
• Two biting edges
• Gets a better grip
on the log
Benefits:
• Can be stuck between
logs to free them.
• Point can be stuck in
the ground to stand it
up so it is easy to find.
Cant Hooks and Peaveys
To determine the size tool you need you should consider the length of the handle and the diameter of
the log you wish to move. Our part numbers tell which tip style and length of the handle.

The Universal Log Stand
Our log stand attachment can be placed on any of our standard series
(1.75” diameter handle). This attachment allows you to roll a log onto
the tool itself. Then the tool and the stand hold the log up off the
ground so that a cut can be made safely through the log without
touching the ground.

About LogRite
Kevin, who was a manufacturing engineer, operated a portable sawmill as a hobby.
When he found himself without a job because of corporate downsizing in 2002, he
decided to turn his milling hobby into a job. He took his portable sawmill and went
on the road. This went well as long as his wooden cant hooks held up. Finding
himself continually unable to work because of broken handles, Kevin decided to
make his own handles. He experimented with several different handle materials
until he found just the right one. This new aluminum handle worked great so he
began to improve the performance of the tool. He began to experiment with the
hook geometry until he created a hook that would bite every time. On job sites
people began to take notice of his modern looking tool and asked how to get one.
Kevin began making tools in his garage. One or two at first, causing the sawmill to
lie idle. When he began to manufacture his tools for different sawmill and
chainsaw manufacturers, his volume increased and required him look for another
location. So after working in his garage for about a year, he sold his portable
sawmill business and moved his growing cant hook business to a bigger facility in
a local industrial park.
LogRite continued to grow and in 2006 acquired
Future Forestry. The arches were a great
addition to LogRite’s existing product line.
The first tool.
LogRite continues to offer a full line of log handling tools, the finest money
can buy. Kevin still likes to flex his engineering talents and continues to
improve and design new products.
