Bespoke Cars of Harrogate operates from their modern purpose converted premises just outside Harrogate, North
Yorks, UK, have rapidly evolved into one of the UK’s foremost specialists in complementary conversions of the iconic
Land Rover Defender.
The company’s existence is based around the premise that there are an appreciable number of Land Rover Defender
customers, owners and enthusiasts who want to enjoy the incomparable utilitarian benefits of the Defender, but also
would like a number of extra features and benefits, not available in the standard Land Rover offering. Bespoke offer
solutions across interiors, exteriors and performance upgrades. In this regard work is genuinely “Bespoke” as an entirely
prescriptive service is offered, whereby customers can become genuinely involved in the additions or alterations to their
Defenders. Customers enjoy the individualism, quality and brand equity associated with the Bespoke name.
Bespoke’s approach is today tailored to cover its three main areas of operation : New, Used and Yours….as this suggests,
we can supply you a new vehicle to your specification, equally we can source a used Defender to meet with your budget
pre-conversion or simply work on your existing car….Whatever suits !
At a strategic level, Bespoke adhere to two fundamental maxims around which the business revolves. Firstly, that all

Bespoke Cars Produce the World’s First Defender with Full Panoramic Roof...
A unique & exclusive option for Bespoke customers. Initially thought to be impossible
given the roof construction, Bespoke like nothing more than a challenge. The issue
is twofold - firstly the standard roof lacks the structural rigidity to inset a single piece
panoramic roof and secondly the ribs on the latest Defender roof don’t make for a water
tight seal. Bespoke overcame the former problem by using 4 seperate internal panels
allowing the roof’s integrity to be retained. However, how we solved the second issue
remins a closely guarded commercial secret.

We are able to convert the 2007 onwards TDCi Defenders from the 6 speed manual
to 6 speed auto.
The Automatic gearbox totally changes the drive and feel of your Defender.
BESPOKE WORKSHOP
Bespoke enjoy the facilities of a dedicated Defender workshop for their conversions, upgrades
and alterations. Fully staffed with experienced and qualified mechanics, craftsmen and upholstery
trimmers this facility allows us to offer the one-stop-shop for all your Bespoke requirements and
to ensure work is completed to the most exacting standards. Also incorporated are the 3 separate
Bespoke paint spray booths allowing us to offer simple colour coding of component parts through
to entire full body colour changes and resprays to the very highest quality finishes. Your Bespoke
can be beautifully finished in literally any colour of your choice….
