Abundantly Blessed
A customer stopped a couple weeks ago. She was frantically
looking for “just the right picture frame” for a piece of paper that
she held tightly in her hands. She shared that this piece of paper
was the very last thing her son had written before he died and
wanted to put it in a frame and display it. He had died of cancer
only 3 weeks prior and she was clearly hurting. We shared some
prayer and hugs. She shared the letter with us, which brought
tears to our eyes. He spoke of how he did not want anyone to be
sad for him, how he was beyond blessed in his life, and to
continue to praise God in all we do. It was his letter to his family
to ease “their” pain.
Everyday, God brings people that will touch us all through the
doors of the store and offices. We are able to pray with those
who are hurting, or be blessed by others. This is something we
never take for granted! Working and volunteering at Love INC,
with help from our churches and community, is so rewarding!
Car Care Saturday
April 25th, Ottawa Reformed Church held the biannual Car Care Saturday. The event runs
smoothly with church volunteers who serve
breakfast, give hair cuts, check blood pressure
and service cars to clients who signed up.
