General and Minimally Invasive Surgery
The surgeons at the Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion
provide a full range of general surgical procedures.
Often working in conjunction with colleagues in other
specialties, the staff emphasizes collaboration with
referring physicians and works with the patients to
ensure all of their questions and concerns are addressed.
Minimally Invasive Surgery
Allegheny Health Network surgeons were among the
first to use minimally invasive approaches and have
accumulated some of the largest clinical experiences with
laparoscopic surgical techniques in the country.
General and Minimally Invasive Surgical

Plastic Surgery
The Wexford Health + Wellness Pavilion provides
comprehensive reconstructive and aesthetic surgical
services, ranging from cosmetic surgery to complex
reconstructive procedures. The physician team is
equipped to perform surgery on any portion of the
anatomy, including, but not limited to, the following:

Reconstructive Surgery
Reconstructive surgery is performed on abnormal
structures of the body, caused by congenital defects,
developmental abnormalities, trauma, infection, tumors
or disease, to improve function.
Procedures include:
n Breast reconstruction
n Autologous fat grafting (used in breast
reconstruction as well as some cosmetic procedures)
n Reconstruction of facial fractures
n Nasal reconstruction (cosmetic and traumatic)
n Skin cancer excision and reconstruction (basal cell,
squamous cell, and melanoma)
n Skin lesion excision (nevi, dysplastic nevi, etc.)
n Kenalog injections for hypertrophic scars
n Keloid treatment

Hand and Upper Extremity Surgery
Many advancements have been made in recent years
in treating patients with hand injuries, degenerative
disorders and birth defects of the hand. The surgical team
