Shortcut to Ever-Gotesco now in
the works
Last month in our FUTURE PLANS section, we
reported that a shortcut to Ever-Gotesco is
something immediately doable.
Last April 8, the Board passed Resolution
No. 17-14 requesting the management of
Ever-Gotesco Mall to permit the opening of
a small pedestrian gate to be used solely by
our residents.
The gate, which is to be located at the perimeter wall dividing our subdivision from
Ever-Gotesco at the southern end of A.

guard during the time that it will be open
between 10:00 am to 9 pm.
Among the reasons given for this requestwere:
1. Convenience – the short walking distance provides them exercise as well
as ready access to the Mall’s various

along Commonwealth Avenue, they will
be avoiding common street crimes that
frequently occur thereat, such as having their pockets picked, snatching,

They say a picture is worth a thousand words...
According to Wikipedia, the adage “A picture is worth a thousand words” refers to
the notion that a complex idea can be conveyed with just a single still image. It also
aptly characterizes one of the main goals of
visualization, namely making it possible to
absorb large amounts of data quickly.”
We went around the community, taking
pictures at random – shots that we hope
will jolt you out of your complacency and
indifference. These are shots that best describe what a neighbor should not be.
You might ask: What does one have to do
in order to be a good neighbor? That’s
easy, because you don’t have to do anything. Bad, that is. Remember the golden
rule? It says: “Do not do to others what you
do not want done to you.”
Do any of these pictures apply to you? If
so, we hope the shame of being found out
is enough for you to right what is wrong. Do
not wait for the authorities to go after you.
These are just a few pictures of the many
we have. Why do we collect them? Well,
pictures taken over time of the same violation perpetuated by the same person make
good evidence or proof of one’s incorrigible
recalcitrance to obey the law. If you’re bad,
Santa won’t visit you but the authorities will.
