A NEWSLETTER PUBLICATION OF REV
First REV
Branded
Trade Show
Booth
On November 2nd, Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV)
announced the rollout of a new corporate name of
REV Group Inc. (see story – page 2).
REV vehicles connect and protect communities, facilitate
global trade, and fulfill family dreams. Around the clock
and around the world, our vehicles transport patients
to emergency rooms, fight fires, shuttle people to the
airport, and unite families and friends across the country
in their RVs. With our products, we bring mobility to the
disabled, move freight at the ports, and carry children
safely to school.
First REV-Branded Tradeshow Booth
On November 2nd, Allied Specialty Vehicles
(ASV) announced the rollout of a new corporate name of REV Group Inc. Shortly after, on
November 10th, the first REV-branded tradeshow booth was displayed at the 41st Annual
Summit for the National Association of Pupil
Transportation in Richmond, Virginia. The
booth included the now iconic REV arch, brochure counter, park bench, and aerial sign.
Dear Fellow REV Employees
As we close both fiscal and calendar year 2015, we can reflect on some very formidable accomplishments we were able to achieve this past year.
Tim Sullivan
REV Chief Executive
Officer
This event was not only the first time REV
branding was seen publicly, but it was the first
time the Ford Transit Type A school bus by Collins Bus was shown. The unveiling of the unit
and branding happened at an exclusive dealer
event on Monday, November 9th.
First and foremost, we transformed our company from Allied Specialty Vehicles (ASV) to REV Group.
This was not just a name change, it is a complete new beginning!
We restructured our company to begin to coalesce around our main divisions of Commercial, Fire and
Emergency, and Recreational Vehicles. By integrating and streamlining several redundant functions,
we have not only made our company more efficient, but we believe we have positioned ourselves to
better compete in the various markets we serve.
In addition to transforming our corporate and divisional structures, we also transformed our product offerings in each division. Over the years, as more companies and products were added to the
REV portfolio of companies, it became necessary to rationalize our product offerings. This was done
to make certain that we are providing the most competitive products possible to our markets. It is
important that our product offerings do not overlap. Simultaneously, it is critical that we position our
product lines to address the maximum number of market opportunities. Clear product identity and
precise market segmentation lead to a much more efficient and profitable company.
REV also provides us with several new marketing opportunities to position ourselves better in the
marketplace. The name itself connotes energy, capability, and speed! We plan to become much more
visible in the market as we move into 2016 by promoting our brands in a more public manner. We plan
to align ourselves with strategic partners that will not only enhance our commercial strength but
moreover provide us with opportunities to promote our brands in a much more visible way. You will
learn more about this as we begin 2016. I think you will be very pleased by how we are positioning our
company for success.
Finally, we were also very successful in positioning our company to partake in other earnings opportunities in 2015. We established REV Finance to provide floor planning and retail leasing to our dealers
and customers respectively. We invested in several software tools to significantly improve not only
how our dealers and customers can order their vehicles but also how we will support them with parts
and service after they purchase our vehicles. We established several REV Technical Centers (RTCs) to
put us closer to our dealers and customers so that we can become true partners where they live and
work. We believe all these new market initiatives will enhance our earnings potential but more importantly establish REV vehicles as the vehicles of choice in the markets we serve.
I think you will agree that we accomplished a great deal in 2015. Wait until you see what we have in
store for 2016!

we announce the new REV brand, Vehicles for Life.
The REV Group, along with Collins Bus Corporation

The REV-branded trade show structures will be used
at all corporate-branded REV events.

Recent Deliveries at El Dorado National - CA
Rutgers University recently took delivery of seven 40foot Axess buses for their intercampus bus and shuttle
system. This brings the total number of ElDorado
National Axess buses in their fleet to 45. The system
provides service for all five campuses and is available to all members of the university community. The
buses feature NextBus technology which tracks the
vehicles on their routes and provides actual arrival
information, updated at regular intervals. From the
comfort and security of a protected place, passengers
can learn when the next bus will arrive at their stop.
In September ElDorado National – CA delivered seven
E-Z Rider II buses to MACOG (Michiana Area Council of
Governments). MACOG is a regional intergovernmental agency established to foster cooperative, coordinated, and comprehensive planning activities. The
MACOG region represents Elkhart, Kosciusko, Marshall, and St. Joseph Counties in Indiana. The 32-foot
low-floor buses feature a trolley conversion package
complete with cupola, cow catcher and brass bell.

state-of-the-art aerial control system.
The Cyclone HS pumper has an open cab design with industry-leading space. In addition, having the engine at the rear of the chassis allows for excellent communication within the cab as
the interior noise levels are only 68 dB while driving, which is less than that of normal conversation.
San Diego Airport recently took delivery of sixteen
40-foot Axess CNG fueled buses. These buses will be
used for the new consolidated rental car facility that is
opening in January 2016. The new Rental Car Center

small business rental car companies, in one central
location. The 25-passenger ElDorado National shuttle

Willie C. Wilkerson Sr. is a welder in the Body Weld area at E-ONE and celebrated 35
years service with E-ONE this year. When asked about E-ONE and his career here, he
said, “My employment at E-ONE for the past 35 years has been more than a job. It’s like
my second family. I’ve seen this company transition through a number of changes and I
am grateful that I am still a part of the E-ONE family.
“After completing seven years in the Marine Corps, I attended College of Central Florida
(CFCC) enrolled in their welding program. One day my instructor asked me ‘Are you
ready to go to work?’ Then he instructed me to go to E-ONE and ask for the Plant Manager. He gave me an opportunity to prove myself and I passed the test and was hired.
That was 35 years ago and my life has never been the same. The E-ONE company has
allowed me to achieve many goals in my life and in the lives of my family. I have truly
enjoyed being a part of this great company.”
We are proud and happy that Willie has been part of the family all these years!

vehicles at Hendrickson where he worked for 18 years. In 1988

and was eventually placed in charge of a new project to build
large buses.
Ed has been married for 46 years. He has a son, a daughter, and three grandchildren,
whom he adores. He plans to retire soon, but does not have any plans for what he
is going to do during retirement. He enjoys what he does here at ElDorado National CA and the people he works with. His number one priority has always been work and
his motto is to work hard and play hard: “That’s what I do.” Ed has always possessed
a great sense of humor and is always the life of the party. You can catch him cracking jokes, dancing (one of his favorite things to do since a young man), or singing
at random times of the day which makes coming to work entertaining. We are very
fortunate to have had him on our team for all these years. Thank you, Ed, for all that

Students Design Interior for
ElDorado National - KS Bus
Third-year interior architecture students from
K-State, in Manhattan, Kansas, were allowed
to “go nuts” in creating a proposed interior
for an ElDorado National - KS medium-size
bus. The students used foam-core board to
design a creative interior for the medium-size
bus.
El Dorado National loaned the bus to the students for six weeks to allow them to work on
their interior design planning.
The school previously worked with
Hawker Beechcraft, Cessna Beechcraft,
and Cessna, Wichita, KS based airplane
manufacturers, for the students to produce mobile interior project plans, but
had not had the opportunity since 2011.
Special VIP Guests Attend ElDorado National - KS
Customer Appreciaton Day

Special VIP guests included Mark Zach, founder of Mobility for
Humanity located in Omaha, Nebraska; Teri Roberts; and her
husband, Kent Roberts.
In May of this year Teri was presented with a converted mobility
Dodge Grand Caravan, donated by ElDorado National – KS and
ElDorado Mobility. Almost one year ago Teri Roberts suffered
from a rare case of toxic shock syndrome which ultimately led
to her being in a coma and suffering from gangrene. The effects from this resulted in her arms and legs being amputated
just below her elbows and knees. Just 17 months before losing
her limbs, Teri also lost her daughter, Andrea Krueger, who was
the victim of a tragic mass murder spree in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mark Zach, a long time exclusive ElDorado Mobility dealer,
heard Teri’s story and was instantly called to help. With the assistance of Mobility for Humanity and ElDorado Mobility,
Teri Roberts was able to regain her independence. Teri stated, “I cannot wait to be able to take my grandchildren to the
zoo again.” Despite all Teri has been through, she remains strong and has a great drive to continue to adapt to her new
way of life.
Several ElDorado National - KS employees, along
with their families, participated in the Annual Color
Run in Manhattan, Kansas on September 12, 2015.
Known as the “Happiest 5K on the Planet,” it is a
unique paint race that celebrates healthiness, happiness, and individuality.

Horton in the Driver’s Seat of Telematics Technology
As computers became smaller and more widespread, the need for an easy way to exchange data grew. This is when
telecommunication technology was used to connect computers, and telematics was born. As a longstanding leader in
innovation and technology, Horton had the vision that vehicle telematics could provider a safer, more visible, and more
efficient emergency vehicle. Horton continues to rapidly develop applications and features that greatly benefit EMS
professionals in the field.
Some of Horton’s telematics options include:
Horton Connect: An elite communication system that includes a mobile application, command center, and
wireless module that interacts seamlessly to keep an ambulance connected at all times. The mobile app
provides users with control of module functions such as power; emergency, scene, and interior lights; climate
control; oxygen system; and locks. The command center notifies operators of up to 20 preventative maintenance items and runs regular diagnostic reports.
Secure WiFi Hotspot: Compatible with all major carriers such as AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint, this hotspot
through Horton Connect allows EMS professionals to connect quickly and securely to exchange or transfer
critical data with no interruption of cellular data.
Horton 360: Camera system that provides
360-degree views of vehicle surroundings so EMS
providers can more effectively maneuver and
help avoid disastrous accidents or damage. This
system also provides 24/7 recording capabilities
and integrates with Horton’s i4G system, utilizing
7-inch LCD screens in lieu of extra monitors.
Collision Avoidance
System: Using MobileEye Technology, users avoid or mitigate the severity of vehicle collisions by
providing six critical warnings via visual, audible and haptic alerts. Providers can
receive a forward collision, pedestrian/bike collision, lane departure, headway
monitoring/following time, high beam control, and speed limit indicator warnings.

many positions throughout his career, and was promoted
to his current position of Programming Engineer. Ken
Sarver began his employment with Horton Emergency Vehicles in 2006 as an assembly installer and was recently
promoted to Team Lead.
Fleet Management System: Driver tracking
with full web-based tracking and reporting with
smart ibutton. Everything from fuel consumption to current speed and location can be viewed
on a central dashboard. Fleet managers can get
a bird’s-eye view of the entire fleet, checking the
overall health, profitability, and productivity of
the vehicles in the field.

Features AEV
Armed with some concept sketches, Ferno
Washington chose AEV to build a state-of-the-art
showcase vehicle on the new Ford Transit high
roof platform. Gorgeous two-tone, fade-paint
exterior and intricate electronics showcase the
craftsmanship of our workforce and engineering
teams. The interior is thoroughly focused to be
efficient and patient-centered, putting all of the
right tools and supplies in the right places.
Business North Carolina magazine recently featured an
article on AEV praising, its accomplishment of reclaiming a piece of manufacturing history in an area known for
Christmas trees and 23-foot-long steel cows standing sentry
outside an 85-year-old cheese factory in rural Ashe County.
The article states it’s a much-needed economic boost after
a string of losses in this mountain county of about 27,000
people. Now, AEV is the county’s largest private employer,
surpassing General Electric Company. “AEV is more than a
success story,” because it was formed from the ashes of a
failed business, says Cabot Hamilton, executive director of
the Ashe County Chamber of Commerce. Mark Van Arnam
joined AEV in 1991 as president with about 50 employees.
That number has grown to over 400.
Type II Van Order for Kuwait Completed
October saw the completion of GMC Type II vans for the Ministry of Health of Kuwait by AEV. This fleet build of 54 vans is designed to survive in one of the hottest
residential environments in the world. Summer temperatures in this country can
reach 125 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit, and our ambulances are designed to meet the
customer’s needs to maintain an internal cooling temperature of 68 degrees. Our
experienced teams partnered with the Gulf Group of Kuwait to deliver these units in
a short time frame, on budget, with best-in-class cooling. We look forward to 2016
to meet the growing needs of the Ministry of Health as they replace their aging fleet.

Leader Strives for Healthy and
Happy Work Force
Key to production is a healthy and
happy work force.
Seen here is the healthy but momentarily less than happy Kim Arias,
Leader Purchasing Manager, awaiting her 2015/16 flu season inoculation.
Flu shots were provided to all those
with an eye to prevention, as well as
hearing tests, during the first and
second weeks of November.
The Leader Production Teams seen here from all Departments reaffirmed their commitments to producing the finest
vehicles worthy of the Leader/REV name plates. Not at all uncommon to this industry are changes – changes in customer
base, changes in chassis design, changes in vendor components and, most certainly, changes in the economy! As the
Corporate identity implies, Leader is on a new starting line, revved up and raring to go towards a bright new horizon in
manufacturing “Vehicles for life.” Constant change is a requirement for improvement, and there is always room for improvement!
As evidenced by the enthusiastic group in the photo, Leader is poised, ready, and eager to take on the changes on the
REV horizon!
Employee Spotlight
None but a few mechanics ever see the workmanship that goes
into the unseen heart of top emergency vehicles on the road today. A few see the care given to the paint work as the ambulance
drives by, but everyone, crews and patients alike, see the workmanship put into each and every cabinet making up the interior
of a Leader-built vehicle.
In 2007 Victor Virgen brought his engineering and cabinetry
talents and skills to the Leader Team. While initially assisting with
loading and operating our early CNC machine in the cabinet shop,
Victor was completing his education at Mt. San Antonio College.
His talents took him next to the creation of 2D drawings for the
Sales Engineers and the Cabinet Shop CNC Operator. Now a SolidWorks-Certified Associate,
he soon took on more work to put the two-year course to the test.
Victor’s daily duties today run the gamut from Programming support to Cabinet Shop
safety, overseeing a staff of twenty. Hand in hand with improving the efficiency of the CNC
layouts are improvements in the Leader products – improving strength without increasing
weight and improving assembly methods without sacrificing storage or customer expectations. Optimizing the amount of immediately usable parts and pieces from every sheet
processed by the CNC machine is key to waste reduction. Victor’s dedication to Leader was
further exemplified by being awarded the Perfect Attendance Award in 2014.
Victor’s after-hours interests lean towards travel, an interest in volleyball and, of course,
his family. Married for four years, he is the proud father of two with one more on the way!

WHAT CAN saving today
mean for TOMORROW
Operational Improvements
Those who report the highest levels of
happiness in retirement attribute it to
planning as early as possible.1
The 2016 IRS annual contribution limit for
401(k) plans is $18,000 and the limit for the
catch-up provision for those 50+ is $6,000 for
a total of $24,000.
A 65-year-old couple retiring in 2014 needed
an average of $220,000 in today’s dollars to
cover medical expenses through retirement.2
Financial planners used to recommend
retirees begin Social Security payments as
early as possible. Now the trend has been to
delay since projected payments increase 8%
annually through age 70.1
A FEW BENEFITS OF YOUR REV RETIREMENT PLAN WITH MASSMUTUAL
COLLINS BUS - Final Trim Area Reduces Defects
Over the last year Final Trim has experienced a significant scrap rate with the interior front and rear endcaps.
A total of $7,730 has been scrapped since January
2015. Prior to Kaizen, Final Trim had 38 days of inventory on hand due to the order process. These items
were on a Kanban order process due to the lack of
options set up to see requirements. It was concluded
that the amount of handling of these parts were a
major contributor to the scratch and dent defects. The
team worked with engineering to set up individual options per cap and decided to put these on a One-Day
Supply and only make what was needed for the day.
After completion of event, the team’s goal is to have 0
defective endcaps due to handling.

Over the last few years Collins Bus quality team has depended on
end-of-line inspections as well as inspections performed by the
Quality group itself. Incoming inspections were being performed
by operators, but were dependent on tribal knowledge whether
it was a pass or fail. The team created checklists, standard work
documentation, and gauges that are posted at each individual cell
to check critical parts of the product before continuing the build
process. Now, operators have the tools they need to determine
if our product is defective before accepting the product. At this
point, the defective product is at the closest spot to the defect
source and the defect can be fixed more effectively. The goal of
this agile feedback mechanism is to reduce the number of defects
caught by end-of-line inspections and quality inspections to zero
for the processes that have the go/no-go gauges built.

COLLINS BUS - Router Table Addition
Collins Bus recently added a CNC router to help eliminate bottleneck
operations as well as reduce defects. The prior operation depended
on operators to manually set routers to correct depth as well as
route out straight lines. This often resulted in defective floors that
took extensive rework to repair as well as downtime resulting from
the needed repairs. We recently united several operations in multiple
departments that resulted in a two-unit WIP reduction. In doing so,
this created a bottleneck when it came to seat track installation. The
addition of the router frees up extra labor to move part of the track
install to another work area eliminating the bottleneck.

E-ONE - Body Prep Moved to Open Floor Space
CHAMPION BUS - Production Safety Improvements Assessed
Early in 2015 the Pumper 2 Body Prep line was formed at E-ONE to increase flow to the main Pumper 2 line. The
improvements in flow opened up floor space to relocate the Body Prep line parallel to their customers and suppliers.
The event eliminated 1.4 miles a week of fork truck travel, eliminated material damage from fork truck movement,
reduced operator movement by 6.5 miles (42 hours per week), improved internal customer supplier teamwork, and
opened Plant 2 floor space for material picks.
Employees at Champion Bus find there are many improvements in day-to-day work that can continuously be
made.
E-ONE - Aerial Prebuild Weld Area Moved
The aerial prebuild weld process was located at E-ONE’s Plant 1.
Subassemblies were welded, staged on a cart, and transported by
delivery truck to the Aerial Assembly Line located at Plant 4, 3.5
miles away. This condition caused delays of material and material
defects, such as water damage associated with staging carts outside. Moving aerial prebuild weld from Plant 1 to Plant 4 eliminated
3.5 miles of transportation, eliminated water damage to material by
staging completed carts at POU - aerial line assembly, moved process carts to POU to allow for better internal customer feedback,
and applied 5S standards to the new aerial prebuild weld area.
LEADER - Prep Department Cleanup
In the course of doing her daily responsibilities, Amber Combs noticed that her auto
retracting utility knife was not retracting. It was soon discovered that the glue that
was being applied to the modesty panel fabric was sticking to the knife blade. After
some brainstorming we came up with a safer process that was also a labor-saving
solution using prelaminated material that we had in-house. To finish the process, we
wrote an engineering change request to log in the process.
Another safety improvement was recognized by
Timothy Eckert, who saw
the need for a fall-arrest
system in our cab cut-out
bay to protect the employees from falling while
cutting the cab out. It was
immediately addressed and
a fall-arrest system was
installed.
REV RECREATION GROUP - Part-Tracker System Implemented
A part-tracker system was implemented at REV Recreation Group to provide real-time tracking for each new
part as it moves from concept through the engineering
release process, sourcing, materials PFEP (plan for every
part), and application while reducing administrative burden.
Other than the obvious cost savings, there were many
other substantial benefits utilizing this sytem.
The Prep Department cleanup area at Leader,
an area devoted to preassembly, was typically in
a state of disarray. Scraps of upholstery material utilized by the Prep Department were being
collected and time was then wasted sorting them
between usable and trash.
Bins were brought in to store usable, sized upholstery. As with all tools and tool boards, each
was given its assigned and labeled resting place.
Also established was a staging area for door
reinforcements next to Type-II vehicles assigned
to them. Now, all tools, supplies, and prepared
components are labeled and clearly ready for
immediate use.

GOLDSHIELD - Router Bit Design Change Reduces Breakage
REV AMBULANCE GROUP ORLANDO - Goal of 6S >4.0 Score Achieved
Through evaluating usage rates, Goldshield determined
that associates were using several handheld router bits. It
was determined that the router bits were being replaced
due to breakage instead of usage. Goldshield began
working with their supplier to evaluate the entire situation. Through process evaluation and brainstorming, the
team was able to adjust a few fixtures and create a design
change on the router bits. These changes have allowed
for the router bit usage to drop from approximate usage
of 250 bits a month to 85. Goldshield has seen a yearly
savings of $43,000 for FY2015. Goldshield is continuing
these efforts on additional router bits used in production.
Throughout 2015, Rev Ambulance Group Orlando worked
towards the extremely aggressive challenge of achieving and
sustaining a plantwide average
6S Score of >4.0 by the end of
the fiscal year. This goal was
proudly achieved and continues
to be sustained, thanks to the
hard work and dedication of
every employee. At the start
of this initiative, maps of the
entire facility were printed and
separated by Value Stream.
Each Value Stream was broken
down into smaller sections, with
each section given a due date
for achieving the 6S goal. This
allowed each Value Stream to
methodically 6S approximately
one or two stations or sections/
areas per week. By the end of
the year, every square inch of the plant had been involved in a 6S improvement initiative to some degree.
GOLDSHIELD - Cleaner Sand System Helps Eliminates Dust
Working in fiberglass can be very dirty and dusty. To
help combat the dust, Goldshield began investigating a variety of different dust control systems. Goldshield determined the Clean Sand System worked
the best for the current production requirements.
The Clean Sand System is designed to eliminate dust
while sanding, resulting in cleaner repair and less
cleanup. This product also allows for the current
sandpaper to continue to be used. Since implementation, data has been collected to verify the system
is being used to its fullest potential. Goldshield is expected to collect and eliminate 6500 pounds of dust
from entering the air and settling within the plant.
ELDORADO NATIONAL - CA - Quality Gate Project Identifies Defects
For the past quarter, ElDorado National – California has been focusing on stabilizing the Quality Gate project. The
implementation of quality gates has given us the opportunity to identify the areas where our defects are happening.
We have been able to detect and start root cause and corrective action processes in order to reduce these occurrences.
The intention of this project is to have a strong internal filter that avoids any defects from going to our customer, thus
giving us the benefit of rework and warranty cost reduction.
Additionally, the team is launching a quality project that will focus on improving internal material flow. We have identified through our PFEP (Plan for Every Part) document and a weighting matrix the priority part numbers that have to
be addressed. Through implementation of Kanban, Two Bin, VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), and other replenishment
systems, we plan to see the elimination of material shortages in-house. These systems will ensure our parts are replenished timely and accurately to ensure flow of our production processes. We will keep you posted on the gains from this
project next quarter.

Visual management and 6S go hand in hand, and from the beginning of this effort, a
strong emphasis was placed on standardization wherever possible, especially within a
single Value Stream. In an effort to better achieve standardization, each Value Stream’s
first 6S effort consisted of a project, working closely with the OpEx Team, to make one
area of the line a 6S “model” area, by which all other areas would follow the standards
laid out within the model (color codes/work station design, clear doors, ergonomically
correct, etc./labeling size, color, font, etc./shadow board features/etc.).
The Van Line chose their Harness Department. to become the 6S model for the Value
Stream. This decision was partially made due to the issues within the Harness Department. which at the time were a bottleneck to van production. This also was one of the
most congested areas in the entire plant with a baseline 6S Score of 1.8. The Van Harness Model Area achieved an initial audit score of 4.1 following the 6S project. The department is no longer a bottleneck to the process and has been able to reduce overtime
through efficiency of productivity. The Van Harness 6S Model Area was created in July
and continues to sustain and increase 6S scores. Most recently, the department has
been nominated to win the company 6S Trophy in November.
GOSHEN - Plant Gears Up for Additional Output
Year 2016 looks to be the year for Goshen Coach! The plant is currently
undergoing numerous changes in order to accommodate such a year.
Dealer Prep has recently moved to Plant 2 where there is better lighting and more space. The line will be transformed from running side by
side to elephant style (head to tail) to improve safety, increase efficiencies, and improve parts presentation.

REV AMBULANCE GROUP ORLANDO - Build Sheet Automation Project
The Build Sheet Automation Project is the brainchild
of Zachary Yeager, Mod
Line Value Stream Manager
for Rev Ambulance Group
Orlando. The team consists
of Zachary Yeager from
operations; Juan Perez from
production control; and Lisa
Bazzell, Stewart Williams,
and Alex Tyler from operational excellence.
Upon successful completion,
this project will increase
efficiency greatly for the
production line, as it will
link up with the Mapics work
order generation process to
automatically create Standard Work (commonly referred to as Build Sheets for each operator on the line). Prior to this capability,
the Build Sheets for each operator must be created by a qualified individual reading the entire specification and manually creating each line item of the build sheet. This is a tedious process that ties up valuable
team members for several hours each week and, additionally, this process is prone to errors. These new
build sheets will drive the standard router times down to the individual operator level providing Operations
a method to accurately predict the approximate time it will take to complete any given unit and aid in the
continuing goal of reducing the planned cycle time, as it will allow for much enhanced planning capabilities
and an ability to shift labor accordingly in a very efficient manner. Essentially, Management will now be
able to see a “snapshot” of their day or week and plan accordingly; whereas, with the old system, planning
to this level was not possible as the necessary information was “hand-to-mouth.”
The project itself is still underway, and the team is meeting weekly to drive towards completion. Thus
far, a prototype of the build sheet generating program has been developed and is currently being finalized and tested on stations 1 and 2 of the Mod line. This is done each week by comparing newly generated
build sheets to those designed by the supervisor on the floor. The goal is to have 10 consecutive matches
between the old and the new build sheets before the former is discontinued. The first Value Stream is
estimated to be completed no later than January 2016. Following the first successful implementation, this
process will be implemented throughout all Value Streams with a complete plant implementation estimated to be in one year’s time. This is only one of many examples of how Rev Ambulance Group Orlando is
linking technology with expertise to streamline operations. This is an exciting advancement in ability that
will continuously add to the bottom line for many years to come.
