wilderness abutting Yoho National Park

Banff, AB and
Golden, BC in the western region of the
Canadian Rockies just 14 kms to the
south of the Trans-Canada Highway. It
borders onto both the Yoho and
Kootenay National Parks. The meandering
Beaverfoot Creek, which empties into the
Kicking Horse River to the North, runs
along the eastern boundary of the
property. The remainder of the property
is surrounded by Crown land.
The Lodge continues to be a destination
of choice for campers and wilderness
enthusiasts as it has been for decades.
Originally built in 1928, the resort offers
the hospitality of the original 3000 sqft
lodge accommodating up to 24 guests
plus various cabins and even chuck
wagon camping. Outdoor spring to
autumn recreational activities include
Native Flora tours, Hiking, Horseback
riding, Mountain biking, Bird watching,
ATV tours, White water rafting, Canoeing
and Kayaking, Fishing, and Mountain
climbing. Winter activities include Cross
country skiing, Snowshoeing, Ice
