THE
DEPICTION
Dragon Red A rap rock band hailing from Kuala
Lumpur, Malaysia, the mastermind of rapper
Landslyde, of the former Poetic Ammo fame which
started out at the end of 2001 with guitarist Amil
Khan and the vocalist Adam Lobo. The Band
currently features Brandon Gomez on the drums
and Camero on Bass. The name Dragon Red was
chosen because according to Chinese scripture,
the dragon represents strength and courage and
the color red represents power and passion which
are the elements the band brings with their music
and energetic live performances.

INVENTORY
Dragon Red’s first single materialized and at the end of 2003, which contained two
songs, “Fade Away” and a Malay track “Terpedaya”.
The first album Holocaust (see overleaf) was released in 2006, the Album which gels
the Band’s orginal Rap Rock style with radio friendly tunes consists of 16 tracks
which includes two Malay songs and feature other local artistes most notably
Roshan from K Town Klan in “Faith In Trust”, C Loco formerly from Poetic Ammo
and Landslyde’s brother in “Wicked Queen” and Joe Flizzow in “Tail Whip”. The
album also features Dragon Red’s rendition of Rudolf The Red Nose Reindeer
retitled as “Rudolf Red” which video was released before the released of Holocaust.
The Album was distributed by Universal Music after one year of its release
Resureksi (see overleaf) was Dragon Red’s second album released end of year
2010. Dwelling into a more Rock overall sound which minimized the rap verses and
emphasized more on singing melodies. Resureksi was released as a 70% Malay
album to tap into the Malay audience to expand its wings to a wider market. Similar
to the Band’s first album Holocaust, Resureksi too was distributed by Universal
Music nationwide and with the videos and singles released for this particular album
widen the overall perspective of Dragon Red’s music to the masses.
