2013 TACSS Fall Seminar
Schedule of Events
The Central Texas Cactus and Succulent Society is
honored to host the 2013 TACSS Fall Seminar at the
Carleen Bright Arboretum in Woodway, Texas, October 46. Join us for two days of hands-on grafting and
informative lectures, plant sales, and the Rare Plant
Auction.
Friday, October 4
3:00 pm – 5:00 pm
Our featured speakers are Woody Minnich of Cactus
Data Plants; Jim Mauseth, Dr. Beth Barr, and Neal Aylor.
On Friday afternoon we will graft Cacti and Euphorbias,
followed by a sneak preview of the c & s sales tables,
including a burger and hot dog cookout. For noon on
Saturday a lunch will be available so you won’t have to
leave the arboretum. That evening we will dine together,
banquet style and hear from Woody Minnich of Cactus
Data Plants. On Sunday, October 6, we will tour c & s
gardens in and around Waco followed by a tour of
greenhouses and gardens at LoveKey Ranch in Birome,
Texas. That afternoon provides opportunity for a special
field trip to habitat of Echinocactus texensis near Hubbard,
Texas.
Be sure to bring your club’s best cactus and best
succulent to show and win best in the State of Texas.

Plants (Woody Minnich), J & J Cactus & Succulents
