TESLA’s Life

He was a Serbian-American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer,
physicist, and futurist best known for his contributions to the design of the modern
alternating current (AC) electricity supply system.

Tesla is also known for his high-voltage, high-frequency power experiments in New
York and Colorado Springs which included patented devices and theoretical work
used in the invention of radio communication, for his X-ray experiments, and for his
ill-fated attempt at intercontinental wireless transmission in his unfinished
Wardenclyffe Tower project.
TESLA’s Life

Because of his pronouncements and the nature of his work over the years, Tesla
gained a reputation in popular culture as the archetypal "mad scientist". He died in
room 3327 of the New Yorker Hotel on 7 January 1943.

Tesla obtained around 300 patents worldwide for his inventions. Some of Tesla's
patents are not accounted for, and various sources have discovered some that have
laid hidden in patent archives. There are a minimum of 278 patents issued to Tesla
in 26 countries that have been accounted for.

Tesla theorized about, planned to build, or claimed to have invented the following
inventions.
Nikola Tesla inventions

Wireless Transmission of Electricity: transmitted from power
stations and received by antennae on houses and electric cars.

Electric Submarine

Teleforce

Death ray: destructive energy transmitter he claimed to have built "when unavoidable... may be used to destroy property and life." --Tesla, 1915.

Mechanical Oscillator: compresses air until the air is a liquid.

Free Energy: Renewable electricity and heat tapped from the
natural energy sources (not energy created from nothing).

Earthquake Machine: a pocket-sized device that could shake a
house apart with building waves of energy.

Force Field: a Scalar field dome made of energy that will
eventually be built big enough to protect a city from attack
during wars.
Tesla's Flying Machine

Another of Tesla's theorized inventions is commonly referred to as Tesla's
Flying Machine, which appears to resemble an ion-propelled aircraft.

Tesla claimed that one of his life goals was to create a flying machine that
would run without the use of an airplane engine, wings, ailerons, propellers,
or an onboard fuel source. Initially, Tesla pondered about the idea of a flying
craft that would fly using an electric motor powered by grounded base
stations.

As time progressed, Tesla suggested that perhaps such an aircraft could be
run entirely electro-mechanically.

The theorized appearance would typically take the form of a cigar or saucer.

camera. Circa 1933.
Thought Camera

In 1933, Tesla theorized about a device that could
photograph thoughts. "I expect to photograph thoughts... .In
1893, while engaged in certain investigations, I became
convinced that a definite image formed in thought, must by
reflex action, produce a corresponding image on the retina,
which might be read by a suitable apparatus. This brought
me to my system of television which I announced at that
time...“
