JARVIS COCKER PAPER DOLL
FREEBIE FRIDAY
JARVIS COCKER
PAPER DOLL
Do you remember the first time... you witness the
band PULP in all their hip thrusting, finger pointing
finery?
In a era when most men were ‘mad for it’, strutting
around like apes...in parka jackets, Jarvis Cocker was the original hipster. He made charity shop
chic what it is today. No longer was it naff to wear
trousers that didn’t quite fit or jackets that looked
like you’d nicked them from the school geography
teacher. It was now cool to look uncool.
Whilst we were forced to pick sides when it came
to Blur and Oasis, everyone was allowed to like
Pulp. And they did! The track below is still one of
my favourite songs ever and Common People
(see week 7) will forever be anti-tory anthem of
choice.

Carefully cut around Jarvis and the
semi-circle stand, stick onto some
card (an empty cereal packet will
do). Then cut out the outfits and
dress Jarvis by folding the tabs.
