System Operations
System Operations in TCN (Transmission Company of Nigeria) is presently a ring
fenced entity in readiness for a robust and independent role in a matured electricity
market.
The responsibility of System Operations include:
• Maintenance of operational standard of security as much as possible under the
present circumstances;
• Dispatch all available generation;
•Schedule maintenance outages;
•Operations planning
• Restoration of the grid system;
•Administration of the Grid Code.
