Shri Hanuman is woshipped all over India either alone or
together with Sri Rama. Every temple of Lord Rama has the
murti or idol of Shri Hanuman who is the Avatara of Lord
Shiva. He was born of the Wind God and Anjani Devi.
His other names are Pavanasuta, Marutsuta, Pavankumar,
Bajrangbali and Mahavira.
He is the living embodiment of Ram Naam.
He is an ideal selfless worker, a true Karma Yogi who worked
selflessly and dynamically.
He is a great devotee and an exceptional Brahmachari. He
served Lord Rama with pure love and devotion, without
expecting any reward in return. His surrender to the divine
cause and his devotion to Lord Rama is unique, exemplary
and unconditional. Even today, the devotees say that
wherever the name of Lord Rama is chanted or referred, Shri
Hanuman would be there listening to His name and being
absorbed in Him.
Ram Navami falls on the ninth day of the Hindu lunar
year (thus named Chaitra Maas Shuklapaksha Navami)
Shri Ram Navami is dedicated to the memory of Lord
Rama. This festival commemorates the birth of Lord
Rama who is remembered for his prosperous and
righteous reign. Ramarajya (the reign of Rama)has
become synonymous with a period of peace and
prosperity. Ram Navami pooja will be followed by
Mahaprasad.

He is humble, brave and wise. He possesses all the divine
virtues. He did what others could not do - crossing the ocean
simply by uttering Ram Naam, burning the city of Lanka, and
help the end of Ravana. He has devotion, knowledge, spirit of
selfless service and desirelessness. Shri Hanuman
Symbolically stands for pure devotion, complete surrender
and absence of ego or the lower self. His character tells us
what we can do in our lives by becoming pure devotee of
God.
On this Holy day, please worship Shri Hanuman. Observe
fast and read Shri Hanuman Chalisa. Spend the day in the
Japa of Ram Naam. Shri Hanuman will bless you with good
health, prosperity and all round success.
