Description
The Bertram 46 Convertible was the standard by which all the production sport fishing boats
were compared. Built on a solid fiberglass hull and designed with a true deep-vee bottom
configuration with an aft deadrise of 19 degrees, this yacht is a true rough-water yacht.
The 46’ features a large, 117-square-foot cockpit for fishing and a larger flybridge with an aft
helm that provides good visibility. It offers a spacious salon, a galley on the starboard side, two
generous staterooms and two heads. An overall good performer, it has a cruise of 19/20 knots;
a max of 23.
Vessel Walk Through
Awesome is a classic 46’ Bertram that is completely redone and shows like a much newer sport
fisherman. It is entered from the 117-square-foot cockpit that has a new fiberglass deck and a
tackle cabinet in the forward starboard side with cook top, sink and drawer storage. Above is a
TV with canvas cover. In the center of the cockpit is a fiberglass table with drink holders and a
few portable chairs.
Up two steps, you enter a completely redecorated salon with an L-shaped sofa on the port side,

custom cabinets that span the full starboard side, and a new wooden floor. There are no front
windows; in their place is an entertainment center framed by 2 large speakers. The galley is
just off the starboard side and has the same wooden flooring, new counter top, and new
refrigeration. The master stateroom, on the port side with full berth and private head & shower,
features a large flat screen TV, Bose stereo system and custom carved glass mirror with a marlin
etching. The forward stateroom has new bedding, vee berth with insert, TV, and entrance to the
head/shower.
