Varied and versatile in order to offer the most compositional possibilities
to the design, HILITE is studied to expand the intended use of the
contemporary high technology gres porcelain stoneware: just 6 mm of
thickness make it ideal for walls and flooring and also for high-traffic areas
such as shopping malls and busy areas. HILITE opens new dimensions for
contemporary architecture because it combines low thickness with large
formats, guaranteeing high technical performances, a lower load on the
floors, and an aesthetic quality never seen before. The slabs, which can be
laid with a minimum joint, enhance the rooms with unique effects of visual
continuity.

The IRIS Ceramica mission is to look at nature through the eyes of the technological state of the art, with the aim of producing material performing the
highest beauty level , granting the availability that natural stone is unable to
provide.
The outcome is Block A and Block B, two versions of Calacatta marble, with
an outstanding elegance made of attention to details and focus on aesthetical
features which never ends.
The blocks provide all the beauty of the “ideal marble vein patterning”,
pursued with the utmost attention to detail and
expressed in ceramics in two mirror-image versions. Further to the
conventional use as a floor and wall covering, the 6 mm slab is also suitable
for cladding bathroom counters and kitchen worktops and for creating doors
and other components which require customised styling, with the certainty of
choosing the finest vein, every time.
