This safety philosophy drives our behaviours, attitudes and actions within the business to achieve a working environment free from injury
or incident.
Our dedicated safety program is designed to empower every person in the organisation to ensure their work practices are focused on
achieving zero harm.
This program is supported through our:

We acknowledge the stringent surroundings in which many of our projects are located and we remain committed to minimising our
impact on the environment. Our people are trained to recognise how critical it is to protect our environment while being respectful of
heritage sites for future generations to enjoy.
We hold certificates of accreditation for Occupational, Health and Safety Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems.
QUALITY
We pride ourselves on our high quality standards, a level achieved through our work on some of
Australia’s most complex fabrication and construction projects.
We believe this pride plays a big part in producing a quality product and our culture is based on achieving excellence. We also ensure our
people are adequately trained and highly skilled. Another key component of our quality lies in our in-house developed, web-based integrated
business management, quality and tracking system - Civtrac. This system manages all aspects of project delivery including document
control, project reporting and quality compliance and is a fully integrated system allowing for “live” project data to be recorded.
Civtrac is also used to provide our clients with opportunities to monitor and improve the outcome of their project via a remote login where
they have visibility on the project’s progress. We manage every aspect of the project life cycle with data captured throughout all phases of
project delivery from fabrication through to on-site installation, providing our clients with:
• Transparency across their entire project from material control to delivery and installation;
• Increased productivity through our multi-disciplinary service offering; and
• The implementation of innovative, best practice solutions, which utilise state-of-the-art technology and equipment.
This information is easily collated and utilised for the benefit of the project. Civtrac also allows for weld and material traceability reports to
be produced along with Manufacturers’ Data Reports, ensuring all elements of project quality deliverables are met.
We are accredited to ISO 9001 – the internationally-recognised standard for quality management.

INNOVATION, TECHNOLOGY
AND VALUE ENGINEERING
At Civmec, we challenge existing processes and practices. We look beyond constraints for
more practical solutions. We work smarter to achieve better project outcomes.
We seek opportunities to become involved in projects in partnership with our clients, where possible. Our experience tells us
that early involvement during the project concept phase gives greater ability to influence design. This, in turn, can have a
positive effect on construction and scheduled outcomes. This early involvement, and subsequent value engineering,
ensures schedule and cost benefits for the project.
Maximum results are achieved through early contractor involvement, addressing issues such as:
• Design and specification critique;
• Materials selection;
• Standardisation in selection and sizing of equipment;
• Offsite fabrication and modularisation;
• Automation of installation process;
• Constructability;
• Programming and scheduling refinements; and
• Commissioning process finalisation.
Our fresh and open-minded approach to problem solving, together with technical expertise and cost effectiveness,
has earned Civmec an enviable track record as well as that all important vote of confidence - repeat business.

and Piping (SMP) for BOC Limited. The contracts involved the construction of a state-of-the-art air separation unit (ASU) to replace an existing ASU
and nitrogen liquefaction unit at BOC’s Kwinana site. The civil scope included site clearing, bulk and detailed earthworks; drainage; fabrication,
installation and testing of underground piping and site services; fabrication of structural steel; construction of ASU shed and acoustic insulation.
The SMP scope included: installation of structural steel, process plant equipment, tanks and vessels; fabrication and site installation of ASU cooling
water, instrument air and process piping; cryogenic insulation and cladding of vessels and piping; and fabrication and installation of platforms.
Wheatstone LNG Project Breakwater ACCROPODE II Units, WA:
Date: December 2012
Client: BEST JV (for Chevron)
Civmec demonstrated integrated capabilities, an innovative manufacturing approach, and the ability to rapidly develop a remote manufacturing
facility and mobilise a skilled workforce as part of our subcontract with BEST JV on the Wheatstone Project. The subcontract was for the supply
and manufacture of 12,550 precast concrete ACCROPODE II units for use in the construction of a 980 metre long mass armour breakwater for the
new Material Offloading Facility. The units were manufactured over a 12 month period. As a part of the subcontract, we expanded Civmec’s local
presence with the establishment of our Onslow Precast Concrete Facility and associated quarry batch plant and camp for our specialist team.
OUR EXPERIENCE
From on site civil works to fabrication and installation, we are constantly challenging ourselves to apply
the most efficient construction techniques possible for our clients.
Coniston, Balnaves and Greater East Spar Development Projects, WA:

Client: Woodside
Civmec, as part of the CCIG joint venture, was awarded the contract for portions of the rectification works of the supplied LNG insulation at
Woodside’s Pluto LNG process plant, 190km north-west of Karratha in WA. Cryogenic insulation rectification works on equipment and piping
included: dismantling of existing cladding and cryogenic insulation; re-lagging (installation); re-cladding (installation); pre-fabrication of sheet
metal in own site workshop; and pre-fabrication of PIR elbows for cryogenic insulation. The complex and time-sensitive nature of the contract
required Civmec to mobilise a workforce consisting of more than 200 employees and a complete site management team within a short timeframe.
