To put Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.
The Auglaize/Mercer Counties YMCA is a private, non-proﬁt corporation, governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. The “Y” is an independent
corporation. While it is a member organization of the YMCA of the USA, each local “Y” is responsible for its own policies, programs and budgets. The
YMCA’s policies and services are determined by its Board of Directors, a group of local volunteers charged with the responsibility of managing the
affairs of the organization. The Board of Directors employs the CEO, who in turn is accountable for employing staff to carry out the day to day operation
of the “Y”. The Auglaize/Mercer Counties Family “Y” operates three full service facilities. The North Branch in Celina, the South Branch serving the
Minster and New Bremen areas, the new Life Enrichment Center at Otterbein St Marys, and the New Bremen Learning Center, a state licensed child care
and pre-school enrichment center. The board and staff work closely as partners to ensure the success of the Auglaize/Mercer Counties Family YMCA.

Auglaize County Historical Society
Mission Statement:
The mission of the Auglaize County Historical Society is to collect, preserve, interpret and share the history of Auglaize County
and its people through exhibits, programs and publications.
Services:
The Auglaize County Historical Society’s annual programming includes lectures, seminars, workshops, tours, traveling exhibits,
bus trips, special tours, a speaker’s bureau, and more. The Society also collaborates with other organizations in the county on
special projects. Owns and maintains the Daniel Mooney Museum (St. Marys), the Wapakoneta History Museum, the former Olive
Branch United Methodist Church in Shinbone, and the Gary Log House at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds.

Mission Statement:
Auglaize Industries, Inc. is dedicated to improving the quality of life
for adults with disabilities living in and around Auglaize County, Ohio.
Services:
The Adult Services division benefits from many years of experience
in each program area. Seven workshop specialists manage the
workshop production area, with a client to staff ratio of approximately
13:1. An Adult Activity program provides hands on activities for
approximately 12 adults with 3 staff overseeing this program, a client
to staff ratio of approximately 4:1. The Seniors’ program provides
daily activities for approximately 15 to 20 adults over 55 years of
age. One full time seniors coordinator manages this area with the
assistance of a variety of part-time staff. This area is staffed by one
full-time staff member who is assisted by other part-time staff. One
full time habilitation specialist provides communication therapies to
clients with communication needs. the adult program employs a full
time evening and weekend recreation coordinator who schedules a
variety of activities from professional baseball games to local plays
and dinner out.

The Blind Squirrel Mission Team is a non-profit organization
that started out helping Henderson Settlement in Frakes,
Kentucky. The group continues to help Henderson Settlement,

To create a visual memory factory in our hometown at
Christmas through taking pictures that can be preserved and
passed down through generations, and to ensure that every
child is treated equally at this special event.

The first weekend in December each year, all children are
treated to a free weekend of activities and prizes, visits with
Santa, and warmly greeted and treated by many of the local
businesses and merchants.

Cridersville Historical Society
The Cridersville Historical Society was established to preserve
the local heritage of the Cridersville area and promote public
interest in history.
The Cridersville Historical Society operates two excellent
local history museums. The 1836 Daniel Bowsher Log House
is located at 507 E. Main Street. It is open the first and third
Sunday, May through October. The Cridersville Historical
Museum is housed in an 1880 United Brethern Church and is
open the first and third Sunday of every month from 1 p.m.
until 5 p.m.

Assist in utilizing available resources for temporary relief while
striving for future independence. Encourage financial self-sufficiency
through employment development and financial coaching. Gather
together to promote healing and celebrate hope. Build Christian

Services:
Goal setting assistance, job/employment assistance, housing
assistance, basic life skills. Provides a Sunday meal at 5 p.m. at The
Roc: a free community meal of soup and sandwich every Sunday
night from 5-6 p.m. Everyone is welcome!

We believe this organzation

community.
Services:
The newest outreach program of Mount Tabor United Methodist
Church. Named “Impact” because belief is that an impact can be
made on the community. Impact distributes three days worth of
food to each family at no cost, one time per month.
Membership to Mount Tabor United Methodist Church is not
necessary. Please bring photo ID with you.

The mission of the New Bremen Foundation is to enhance the

Services:
Foundation exists to make charitable giving more efficient by
investing in a permanent endowment to better the community
and enhance the quality of life of its citizens. It is a regional
community foundation committed to donor intent and is a center
for professional advisors and their philanthropic clients. The
New Bremen Foundation evaluates and addresses community
needs through community programs and charitable grants.

The NBHA established The Luelleman House Museum, one of
the oldest buildings in New Bremen, and is listed on the Register
of Historic Places as well as the Pape House. The NBHA also
established the Miami & Erie Visitor Center also known as the
Lockkeepers House in downtown New Bremen. The NBHA also
publishes the quarterly historic magazine “The Towpath.”

Services:
The Heritage Center serves as a hands-on place for family
genealogy searches. It houses a large file of funeral obituaries,
family pictures, past business memorabilia and farm procedures
and ownership. Trustees may be contacted to explain the farm
procedures, tell about past farm families and businesses and
help with family tree searches. The Heritage Center is open the
last Sunday of the month, May through October.

To provide services for children with neuro-motor disorders
Services:
Conductive Education is a holistic approach to develop
spontaneous and innovative problem solving skills in people
with physical disabilities to assist their maximum integration
into society. It is a unique system of teaching and learning
for children with motor disorders such as cerebral palsy and
spina bifida. The program offers conductive education therapy,
